"This was my first experience with S&S and I was very pleased.  I purchased an Angie's Deal for $260 for 2 electricians to perform 2 hours of work each (in one visit).  Everything went great from the very beginning.  Communication was prompt and easy.  They had me on the schedule within a week and the electricians arrived first thing in the morning on the day we had scheduled.  I walked them through some of the work I wanted performed while they were there.  First, I wanted several old, ceiling mounted florescent light fixtures removed and the wires capped off.  Secondly, I wanted them to look at a loose/hanging wire that looked suspicious.  They removed all of the lighting and even fastened the wires to the beams where they were dropping into the previous drop-ceiling.  Additionally, they informed me that the suspicious wire I was worried about wasn't connected to anything electrical source.  As an added benefit  - They told me it was an old copper wire that can be taken to a recycling center.  =)  Excellent experience.  I just ordered some new lighting to replace the old and am scheduling S&S to come back to install them.  I would definitely recommend them to others.

"Everything went perfect from start to finish. Chris responded to my inquiry that very evening and we set up a date to have an estimate for the replacement on my old fuse box panel. Randy his technician went through everything in detail that needed to be done to upgrade my sevice to 200 amps and the added safety features. At that point I knew I had the right person for the job. I signed the contract that day to have the work done. Randy and his co-worker (sorry forgot his name) arrived on time and completed the work that day and for the exact price I signed the contract for. "I used Meyer for electrical. My experience with them went pretty good. It was very professional, certainly technically very, very confident. The scheduling was a little bit of a challenge sometimes. The pricing was pretty good, the one that I didn't have terribly trouble with. I had them here about six or seven times, so obviously not having them come back soon. He was here over month and month. I had him do all kinds of things. They do a lot of stuff, most was really odd electrical stuff and they were really patient and confident tracing through the electrical disasters I had, or so I believe. They are solid. They are good for it. The only thing I would say is make sure you understand your cost before you go and strip. I got cut off with one cost but that was my fault also, fair enough. I would grade them a 'A' minus, they are better than a 'B'. I mean I had a couple of trades that were outstanding that I would select 'A' plus, plus sort of thing and not a 'B'. It is clearly very good. I would call them again. I mean he always showed up but just late sometimes."

"I was literally overwhelmed at how great Roland was and how impeccable his work is. You just cannot find people that have pride in their work and care about 'customer satisfaction' anymore. "AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
