"Needed some some leaky pipes replaced on two separate occasions. They did an excellent job. The plumbers that were sent out to perform the jobs were very professional, friendly and courteous. Highly recommended."

"From the initial scheduling with Mackenzie/the office, to obtaining a free estimate/quote with Randy, to having wonderful Matt & Brent install a new gas line - it was a breeze. I cannot say enough good things about this company, and was hesitant at first - given the age of our home (almost 100 years old!) They were thorough, thoughtful, pleasant and worked non-stop; did an awesome job. When I had some installers from another company who didn't/couldn't install a new dishwasher (and were seriously rude) - Matt came back TWO DAYS LATER to save the day and install it for me!! He even creatively reused a decent cord from our prior fairly-new-but-not-working Asko (computer died) - as our brand new dishwasher didn't come with an electrical cord!! (UGH, another story.) His install price & time were extremely fair, and I was grateful he was available to do so within the same week. We will be lifetime Huber clients. Thank you for your hard work and great employees - they felt like family at the end!"

"Service was fantastic. I had a last minute scheduling conflict and when I called to reschedule they got me in SOONER than my original appointment. Guys who came were polite, friendly, and didn't make a mess. My problem was a failed connection between original galvanized pipe and newer plastic based pipe. They brainstormed several approaches and ended up with a solution that didn't involve ripping a hole in my wall, which I greatly appreciated. Would definitely recommend."

"We accidently turned off the gas instead of the water when we were replacing a washer in the bathroom sink. We were worried about the gas water heater after the gas was back on and called 3 plumbers. Kok answered and made arrangements to come over in an hour. He came, checked the water heater and didn't charge for the call. <br /> <br />"

"Ryan did a fantastic job roughing in my post frame building for a bathroom and running a gas line extension from my house. The project had a small window to get the work done, making scheduling a plumber difficult. Citywide arrived on time and provided a professional service and product, rolling with changes that popped up during the build. I will definitely call on Citywide to finish the plumbing in the shop next year and to help with any other future work in our house! I will recommend them to my friends in the area!"

"Broken sewer pipe was 14 feet deep and they had to dig in a very tight space between my electricity and gas lines. The break ended up being directly below my gas line and slightly outside of the excavation box. I thought it was totally hopeless but they were calm and professional and improvised a way to make it work. They had put the huge mound of dirt on special boards so everything went back into the hole so all I have in my yard is a relatively small 4x8 section to re-sod. Those guys are the BEST! <br />"

FAQs for gas piping projects in Howard Lake, MN

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
