"After the cables and rails on my garage door broke over a holiday weekend, I called G&S first thing in the morning and they were able to send someone within a couple of hours. The technician, Nestor, called about 10 minutes before he arrived and showed up right on time. He provided an estimate for the work, which I thought was slightly high; but still reasonable. Before starting he asked me if I would consider replacing the entire door, but wasn't at all pushy about upselling. He got to work repairing the door and completed the job in about 2 hours. When he was done he cleaned up thoroughly, and was on his way. While I hope not to need their services again, if I do, I will certainly call G&S. Very easy to do work with, and very responsive."

"My family recently purchased a home that is 10 years old and during the inspection, an issue came up with the safety mechanism that keeps the garage door from closing down on an obstruction (like your car, kid, or pet). I called ABC Garage and the customer service was very thorough in explaining that older models to not have that feature, so she walked me through the various models and pricing in case we wanted to replace the unit. We have young kids, so I knew we'd probably want to go with the upgrade. The day of the service call, the technician arrived promptly and verified that the current system was old enough that it didn't have this safety feature. We discussed the options again (he had all three models in his van) and he installed it promptly. When that was completed, he also showed how the garage door itself could use to be adjusted so it made less noise when opened. I was happy to pay the additional fee to get that resolved. All told, it was a very positive experience - professional, thorough, friendly, and timely. There is a 5-year warranty on the unit and 1-year labor warranty, but I expect this product to last much longer in the future."
