They harvested old brick from the attic chimney (which was about to fall), carefully cut and removed layers of old plaster, making a minimal repair hole, and then rebuilt the chimney in the upstairs bedroom. They repeated the process in the kitchen below, taking out only the plaster necessary and rebuilding that, as well, with the original bricks from the attic. Charley and Mike left clean, straight openings for new drywall, and only what was necessary. Then the guys finished in the basement, tuckpointing and stabilizing this four-story interior chimney. They protected floors and cleaned up, too. All three men--Charley, Mike, and Harry, were professional, polite, and knowledgeable."
