Customers say: True professional

"During the in home estimate, we learned that we shouldn't reface the cabinets we have, given their quality. It was suggested we go another route, and were not steered to any particular company. Janssen could have cleaned our clock, but took the high road. They're the company I will recommend to any of my friends down the road."

"I was very impressed with Sentri Homes - their customer service was excellent. They sent a subcontractor to install some vinyl laminate in my bathroom and he ended up getting glue all over the carpet in our bedroom. The sub ended up ghosting both me and Sentri, leaving me stuck with a ruined carpet. Sentri stuck with me for over a month to get the carpet replaced with the identical original and to get the vinyl job 100% completed. The carpet was a Home Depot exclusive and Sentri handled everything with them. I will be using Sentri for a much bigger renovation I have coming up soon, because I know that they will make sure everything gets done right no matter what problems come up. The vinyl looks great too."

"Carl arrived on time, in fact he was a little early.  He even picked up the baseboards at the store for me since I couldn't fit them in my SUV.  He immediately set to work and flew through the jobs that I thought would take all day.  His work is precise.  The baseboards were cut to perfection.  He was very personable and answered all my questions.  He had all the proper tools to complete the job which is a huge plus!  I had the glass repaired on my front door previously and the trim needed to be painted.  He ended up painting the whole door for me.  I can't say enough positive about Carl.  He answers every call that he receives.  I plan to have him back to do some whole house painting and moulding installation.  I was lucky to get him so quickly as he is super busy.

"Had Lowes install new hardwood floors and was told I had to remove shelves and shoeracks. Thought it was a simple DIY project until I looked more closely at them. First the screws had heads for which I had no tool and there had to be a hundred of them-some of them almost inaccessible. Called Peter in a panic-now I was out of time and he came the next morning. He removed everything and and even patched the holes.

"The paint crew worked methodically and cleaned up each day. The ceiling smooth out and paint came out great - it's a vaulted ceiling. Seven rooms were also painted. Drywall repair was done to smooth out areas that needed attention since towel racks and shelves were taken down. The job was on time and came out beautiful."

"This company was  very fair with the price and services. Always cleaned after themselves and made sure not to make a mess. They treated my house like if they were working on their own house and i am just so happy with the services. They were always on time and completed the job within the time frame they gave me. I would recommend them to anybody and will definitely hire them again for future jobs. Best all around!

FAQs for carpentry framing installation projects in Indiantown, FL

Both steel and wood can last over 100 years with proper care. However, wood could rot or warp when exposed to moisture, whereas galvanized steel is rotproof, insect-proof, and much more fire-resistant. Steel is friendlier to the environment as it doesn’t require cutting down trees, and the frame can be recycled. The energy-efficiency rating of metal stud framing can be higher than conventional wood construction. Metal studs are easier and quicker to install.

Whether you’re using wood or metal stud framing, follow the “16 on center” rule, meaning you should have a stud every 16 inches. A 20-foot wall spans a total of 320 inches. This works out to 20 spans of 16 inches, plus one starting stud, for a total requirement of 21 studs to frame a 20-foot wall.

Drywall installation costs $1.15 to $2 per square foot on metal stud framing or $2,300 for an average 2,000-square-foot house. The total cost for metal framing and drywall ranges from $20 to $30 per linear foot. Metal frames often seem light, but they can be exceptionally strong once drywall or sheathing is attached.
