"Mike was very responsive to my questions and emails /phone calls were returned no later than the following day... Once I decided on my sink and quartz slab, the work was done within a couple weeks (this is a very busy time for remodeling) I love my quartz countertops and sink... The workmanship is excellent and very impressed with the speed and neatness the demolition was done (vacuumed as demo was being performed) and debris hauled away... I would definitely ask them to do my bathrooms when i'm ready!"

"Rudolph arrived on time and was prepared to work the full day if needed to complete our projects. He has integrity! We had a laundry list of items to be repaired, and he let us know for several items on the list that we should hire another provider to complete the work. Some things he said he could do, but wouldn't do it as well as another professional. He even went so far as to provide us recommendations for who to call for a couple things (custom door weather stripping & ceiling fan repairs). We will be hiring him again later this year to repair and paint our fence/gates as well as install casters on a cabinet. The only reason I gave him a 'B' for quality was because one of our chair legs was repaired with a gap where there shouldn't be a gap, so the attention to detail on this repair faded. The quality of that work was not on par with everything else. He has promised to deliver puddy when in the area next since re-doing the repair may damage the chairs thanks to the wood glue. The wood glue overflow seemed excessive to my husband, but I believe that is normal and we were able to remove it once dry. The other 'B' for professionalism was regarding cleanup - which is one of my pet peeves with contractors. The keys to my back fence gate (which includes a house key) were left in the gate unattended during the day, and not returned at the end of the day. There were extra pieces of the chicken wire which we had to throw away. And the old chicken wire was thrown away in our recycling bin instead of trash bin."

"We were selling our house and the buyer's house inspection revealed evidence of a hidden water leak within a wall. Bruce and his team at A+ Pro-Tech were very responsive. After opening the wall, they discovered that there had been a leak from the upstairs toilet and mold had developed within the wall. The A+ Pro-Tech team was able to fix the leak, re-mediate the mold problem and repair the ceiling and wall damage in time to avoid any delays to the sale of the house. I highly recommend A+ Pro-Tech and would hire them again."

"I'm glad I consulted Angie's list before hiring a handyman.  Tim was the highest rated handyman on here and he deserves every bit of his rating.  He made two trips to our house.  On the first, he fixed a door that was sticking; our back door.  I had also wanted him to fix the front doors (metal) that were sticking too.  However, that was not really possible because we had some cracks in the door jamb that I had not noticed.  He showed me and explained that he needed to replace the doors, casing and trim.  I also asked him to put down new thresholds for the front and back doors.  He called his door supplier and gave me an estimate that day and put me on the schedule for 12/27.  He's a very busy guy (because he's so good), so scheduling is a bit far out.  It was worth the wait.
On the day he was scheduled to work, Tim and his associate showed up 15 minutes early.  They were very kind and courteous.  We didn't even talk about what to do with the old doors, so I just thought I would wait and see what happened.  They demoed out the old front doors and hauled them off (put them in the trailer while they finished the job).  Then they installed the new front doors which we had ordered.  They are fiberglass and very nice.  Much quieter.  Tim installed the new hardware we had purchased, the peep hole, which the door company had forgotten to drill and the new thresholds, both front and back.  He even let me pick out the trim for the new front doors. I went with his suggestion between the different styles and it looks AMAZING!  They did a SUPER job cleaning up.  No construction debris anywhere, the only dust I found was on the door, but I'm guessing he didn't want to attack that with a Shop-Vac because it would have marked it.  No biggie, I wiped it off with a cloth.  If Angie's List had an A+, Tim would get one.
I have flipped over 30 houses in my former life in Kansas.  I never had a tradesman or handyman with Tim's skill level or depth of knowledge.  He would have made my life a lot easier in the old days.  We will hire him again next time we need something.  Just thinking I have a couple of stuck windows he could fix...
Tim's Handyman Service, in Henderson, is the BEST!  You can't go wrong with them.  Don't hesitate.  Call them first.

"First, the door looks great and Melby made sure it was working before he left. He was very particular about balancing and shimming the door. He cleaned up after his project. He was on time and charged what he said he would. We are happy to say he is our go to guy for this sort of stuff. We are about to do a very large tile project with him."

FAQs for interior trim and decorative moldings repair projects in Jean, NV

While the terms 'trim' and 'molding' are often used interchangeably, they serve different purposes in home design. Trim refers to materials installed at the junctions of walls, ceilings, and floors, providing a seamless and functional transition. Molding, on the other hand, is a decorative type of trim crafted specifically to enhance your interior's visual appeal. For personalized recommendations that match your home's style, consult a professional contractor.

Repairing or replacing trim throughout your entire home takes six hours. If you're focusing on just a single room or a small section, you can expect the project to take one to two hours to complete. The process includes removing the old trim, carefully measuring and cutting new pieces, and precisely installing them to achieve a polished and lasting result.

Selecting the right trim is key to enhancing your home's overall design. Common options include shoe molding, quarter-round, baseboards, crown molding, chair rails, and picture rails. The best choice depends on where you're installing it, your personal style preferences, and your budget. Consulting a knowledgeable contractor can help you find the perfect trim to elevate your interior's appearance.
