"Workers wore masks and kept a good distance when interacting with us. I am thrilled with the concrete leveling. If the driveway sinks again within 3 years they will fix it for free. Nice folks and excellent results."

"Austin Wells handled our sinking concrete pad and cracks near my garage. He explained everything, neat, and very professional. My wife and I appreciated how he wore a uniform and conducted himself in as an expert in his field. I would definitely call JES again, in particular, Austin Wells to handle any other concrete leveling issues."

"Good people to work with, professional in every way. Normally when we received 2" of rain water would start entering the basement. When we receive 3" the basement floor would be covered. Two days after installing their system our area received 8.5" of rain and our basement remained dry, not a drop got in the house. These guys know what they are doing."

"The estimator, Dennis accommodated my scheduling requests, and changes in the contract, he was there as well, when the resurfacing started. My driveway needed a specific piece of machinery; so they used their subcontractor, which was excellent too. F&M came back 3 days later, backfilled, mulch, and seeded the bare spots, then a rep came by to check on the finished project. I love the look of my driveway now and would recommend F&M to friends and family!"

"I had a relatively small project that needed to be taken care of and Chris and his colleague Mark worked quickly and efficiently to fix my problem! Chris worked on the brickwork, and Mark repaired the water damage that had been done on the interior of the house, and Mark even painted after he repaired the interior! They both did high quality work and I am incredibly happy with the jobs they did."

"Excellent!! My project was for painting of a 3 bedroom townhouse and renovation of the kitchen and installment of vinyl floors throughout. Ricky is true to his word, which, in my opinion, is hard to find with contractors today. He also really cares about the quality of his work and communicates well regarding job progress and expected completion. I added stuff after the fact and he was clear about pricing and everything was done in a timely manner and with excellence! I'm very happy with the completed work! Thanks Ricky!"

"I am writing this review late so that angies list will stop calling me and emailing me to write a review.  I had a hard time getting in touch with the company.  Once I was able to get in touch with someone, we weren't able to arrange a time that would work so I could get an estimate.  All interactions were nice and courtious. <br />"

"Workman took three days to shore up the foundation of this very old garage. He was polite, and did a nice job. Estimates from several providers were all over the map, since some recommended extensive work involving the use of helical piers, and installation of a new concrete block foundation. I went with more conservative repair.. It looks fine, and I hope I made the right decision."

"They arrived on time; were professional & polite; and did the work to my expectations. I could not have asked for a better result. (Not to mention it was a lot cheaper than having the concrete driveway replaced.) Nice people too."

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Jessup, MD

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
