What they did was stage the area in prepapration for that project, so that there will be minimal work for when I start that project and have the sink in the new location. "We have had problems with our sewer line backing up for the past 17 years. Would always call different rooder router company's to get it unplugged. Used to have to do it at least twice a year and then it turned into 3 or 4 times a year. The last guy we had told me he was going to have to rip up my floor in order to fix the problem. I was beside myself.... Then about a year and a half ago I got the name of J&S plumbing from my brother in law who used them for the village of Arlington Heights. He told me to call and ask for Brian (Buck) and get a 2nd opinion which we did. Brian put a camera down the sewer line and saw that the pipe under ground was broken and replaced it for us. No other company in all those years even bothered to put a camera down there to see what the problem was. Brian suggested we get the line hydro jetted when the weather broke. We had no problems with the line for about a year and a half and the sewer backed up again. We called Brian and he sent Daniel to hydro jet the line. Daniel came with two other guys and got my sewers all cleaned out. He was kind, honest and friendly. I would recommend J&S Plumbing to anyone who wants to be treated fairly with great customer service. If there was more than 5 stars to give I would give them more. They are an honest, fair company! "They were professional, took a look at the catch basin and rodded it to get water flowing. Unfortunately the camera showed a lot of roots and the basin has a retainer wall issue. So more work is needed, however they didn't pressure me to do the work now, walked me through the different options to fix and only charged me for the original Angie's list deal to rodd the line. I would hire them again, and just may to do the other work."

"Well. I have a sewer backup system that Permaseal installed in 2012. Never had a problem with it and it solved my sewer backup problem. I am supposed to have it inspected annually. I skipped a few years by laziness. They inspected this year. All was in order. They did however recommend that I replace a pump that is beyond its expected useful life and also batteries that are beyond their life. Those will be done in September or October. At same time I asked them to look at a floor drain in an unfinished portion of my basement. Water had come up. They diagnosed that my kitchen sink was backing up into the floor drain and fixed the problem by rodding the pipe under the floor drain. They were prompt and efficient. I also arranged to prepay for 5 years of servicing."
