"Hard to be brief...I see I contacted Mr. Handyman on April 3. He JUST finished and still isn't finished, but he can't return because my neighbor might literally kill him or, more likely, us. Plus, I have finally had enough. I gave him so many chances to make things right and he never cooperated and I feel that asking him back will just continue more days of unfinished work and disaster. Moises Garcia, also known as Aurelio Cordona, took a vacation in the middle of the job, leaving us without gutters for months. He would work for about three hours most days and then leave. He left hanging metal over our neighbor's driveway that whole time. He poured concrete down our drain, blocking our HVAC system from draining. He left the hose on for hours, wasting 150 gallons of water and causing our neighbor to pull a knife on us. This was AFTER we asked him not to use the hose!!! We said, the neighbor doesn't like us using that hose, you can use the basement hose or even the sink inside and he kept using the hose we asked him so many times not to!!! It's like he wanted to make our lives bad. I even would translate everything in to Spanish just to be sure he understood. He would say ok and then do what we asked him not to do---he would even move the hose handle back to that hose when we had taken it off so he wouldn't use it!! He said he would take the trash from the job but he left it at the curb after being asked multiple times to take it and left nails and screws all over our driveway, the neighbor's driveway, and the street. He caused four flat tires. He also left the trash from the project onsite for many, many months, instead of hauling it over time. He told us to bribe the trash guys to take the trash. He filled both our trash cans and recycling cans with construction debris so we had to remove all that just to be able to take out our trash. We have been finding chunks of wood and concrete in our backyard which has been a mowing hazard. When he couldn't throw things in our trash, he just started throwing them in the backyard randomly. I say he isn't done, but he thinks he is. He left fascia unpainted, soffits unrepaired, and hung the gutters facing the house so the whole reason I hired him is negated. Honestly, the soffits and fascia look worse than when he started. The whole reason the wood was rotten was that the angle of the gutters was such that water had been flowing back on to them. He didn't fix that at all; the water still flows towards and house and doesn't drain because he rehung the gutters crooked. He also overcharged me and kept upping the bill for things. He charged me money for wood he just left on my porch for months and didn't even use because he didn't complete the job. Since he left it outside, the wood was molded already before he even installed it. The soffits he did repair are uneven and not nailed in properly. He also was supposed to repair the soffits and fascia on the top floor of my house and he didn't even touch those!!!!! He would make excuses why he couldn't come to work and if he ever received cash from me, he would leave as early as possible and usually not show up the day after. I can't say what he did with that cash, but having cash definitely made his work ethic even less. This man's work could end up costing me my life, as my neighbor has threatened me with a knife because of the negligence of Mr. Garcia. "
