"The repairs went well. He trimmed the trees a bit to get the branches away from the roof and replaced the damaged shingles. Though it hasn't rained yet so I don't know for sure if the leak is fixed. Hopefully I won't have to rely on the 1 year warranty."

"Very considerate, Professional Paint Crew, Pete Rodriguez and Sons. Always thought about the Customer first. Worked diligently, quietly everyday. Showed up on time. Were off my property by 3:30 p.m. most days. Cleaned up after themselves. Neighbors only knew because they saw them cleaning paint brushes at the end of the day. Minimal disruption to my life. Some drywall, wood trim repair. Tougher job because I had $20K in new floors to protect. Had debate with Charlie, Co. Owner, re: type of paint, but he agreed to use my preference BEHR with primer. Best paint job I have ever had! BRAVO 360 Painting!"

"Jose arrived at appointed time. Efficiently moved forward with the diagnosis and repair, explaining what he was doing and why. In addition of his repair, he offered advice on how to make machine operation more efficient and less costly. Also shared advice and explained practical issues on refrigerator and built-in oven operations. Would definitely call again and recommend him to anyone."

"Darryl Clark pressure washed the brick and wood siding as well as exterior windows. It looks remarkable. He was very knowledgeable and I already plan to have him return to do other work. My highest rating."

"Excellent! First, the old tile was removed along with the toilet, sink, cabinet doors and entry door. Rocky was organize and clean. He cleaned up as he worked. He bagged up the trash and took the bags out to his truck as they filled up. He sat up a work table outside with his tools. He cleaned up daily. Rocky was very good at communicating with me on what was needed as well as answering all of my questions about materials and his progress. My walk-in shower was retiled, had new fixtures installed and a light was also installed in the shower. This was a new addition which required Rocky to add additional wiring. He did this completely professionally. He took all precautions for working with electrics. A new tile floor was laid, as well as bead board added to the walls, wood trim added and the room was painted. Rocky did a lot of work and it all was completed efficiently and to my liking. I love my new bathroom! I will definitely use Rocky again!!"

"I did not hear from the painter after purchasing the coupon in late September. I called in December to set up a time for him to look at the job. We knew some repairs were necessary to our porch before painting could be done and thought they were minor. After 2 or 3 cancelled appointments Michael came out and said even though our brick house only has painted surfaces on the trim, porch, doors and two bay windows, we were told that this would cost more than the $899 cost for 1600 square feet. He wants to charge us $400 for power washing before painting and $450 for "extra square feet and difficulty" and $500 to fix the porch. We know we need to fix the porch and would like to use our funds to repair the porch correctly, we can't afford the porch repair and all these extra charges for painting. We would like to use a carpenter to repair the porch correctly, not a painter. Please refund our purchse."

"I contacted Mr. Nabors about the drywall repair thru Angies List. He responded, came to our home and looked at the work, which consisted of repairing 3  small areas where walls had been cut open to repair plumbing. Later he called and said he had a drywall man available, and priced the job. The bid was a little higher than I expected but included the drywall repair as well as replacing the necessary trim, and since we were really tired of looking at the holes in the walls, I told John to do the job.
Mr. Nabors had a sub-contractor come to our home and begin the work. He did the repairs over 2 days due to the time required for the drywall compound to cure. When he finished on the second day, he told me that Mr. Nabors wanted a check immediately. I was tied up with an appliance delivery, so I took a quick look at the repairs that had been done and wrote a check.. The sub contractor called a couple of days later and asked if we were satisfied with the work. I told him that he had used the wrong "foot" trim in a bathroom, and he said he'd be glad to come back and replace it. We weren't able to set a time when we were both available, so finally I bought the trim and replaced it myself.
My wife and I also learned the hard way that when a contractor sprays on drywall texture without using tape or plastic sheeting, that there is a lot of cleanup to be done, which apparently was not part of the job Mr. Nabors bid. We spent a good amount of time cleaning drywall patching compound off of our our custom coated garage floor.  Most of the food items in the pantry also required wiping down since they had a fine coat of compound from the spraying process.
Looking back, if I take into consideration the cleanup time and trim replacement that we did that should have been part of the job, I'd have to say I paid too much for this job.
