I did not have a chance to start up the softener before he left; he offered to come back if I had any issues. There were two options for routing the drain line so we decided to take the easier option. However, he said that if this option did not work out once I ran the softener for a while he would come back and re-route the line using the other option. I paid $160 for the 2 hours of labor and I will have some additional costs for the materials he used to connect the softener.
