The installation went extremely well.  Our Techs, Chad and Steven arrived promptly at 8 AM and immediately went to work.  And as a homemaker, I really appreciated the fact that they wore boot covers over their shoes to protect the carpeting.  Since this installation required going inside and outside many times, they also put down a protective plastic covering where they had to walk inside!  What else can you ask for!  They had the installation totally completed in the time frame we were told, approximately 5 hours, then took the time to explain the workings of the new thermostat,  There were both very polite and so cordial!  After they left, there was not one scrap of any debris and we are now enjoying our new A/C unit.  I also want to mention that Total Comfort did the original installation of all of our HVAC when we built our home almost 10 years ago, and we have kept a maintenance contract with them ever since.  When we had this problem, they were here immediately and had our unit installed in just a few days.  Total Comfort is an excellent company, with a wonderful group of employees, both in the field and office.  We will stay with them for all of our HVAC needs!

"Kurt from American Home Services gave us a free estimate on mold remediation -- we have a small water spot that may have mold under it in our pantry from a leaky jug of water. He was extremely professional and helpful. He came to do the estimate within 2 days of my call, and was very honest and up front about the extent of the damage. He did not think we needed to do anything about it unless we really wanted to since it was so minor. He gave us some suggestions for how we could clean the spot ourselves to potentially get rid of any mold that might have been there, but he said that even if there was mold, it was very minimal. This shows his honestly because he could have easily told us that it was worse than it was just to make money off of us. I would definitely recommend American Home Services to anyone who wants honest opinions on a mold situation. Thank you!
