"The technician came over the same day, couple of hours after I had spoken to them which was great! He was very nice and efficient and it took him no time at all to diagnose and fix the problem with my leaking shower. Basically he needed to change a "cylinder" or "cartridge" or something (looked almost like replacing a small refrigerator filter) He was in and out in about 30-45 minutes and charged $352 for the job. This to me sounded rather expensive but other than that, he did a good job, quickly and efficiently and the part and work has a 2-year warranty so all in all I was okay with it."

Jeremy Williams took my call and after I explained that I needed to replace my 18 year old water heater, he asked what time of the day would be best to come out and take care of my replacement. He explained that he liked to provide same day service and any hours I would be available would work for him. We agreed to meet at my house at 3:30pm and he estimated that the time to replace my water heater with a new one would take about an hour. He also provided an all-inclusive price to remove and haul away the old water heater, install a new unit. In short, Jeremy arrived on time, completed the install in under an hour and charged my as per his original quote. I highly recommend Water Heater Express of Lafayette."

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
