"They leveled our patio and we were extremely impressed with the professionalism of the crew. Unfortunately, the patio sank a couple of inches within a month and they returned again, at no cost, and re-leveled. We are hoping that it will stay but, whatever happens, it is not the fault of their expertise but rather the ground continuing to shift. That is our personal assessment."

"From consultation to completion the team at Groundworks handled our foundation repair with care and professionalism. Matthew came to the house and stayed to answer every question and explain every detail. He took the time to complete a bid while onsite and walk us through the process. (BTW their permitting department and financing through GreenSky really helped!) When the work started the first team of Alex, Iuni and Luis, were exceptional (they pier leveled the footing). We got texts the moment they arrived at the property and they got right to work, completing their part right on time. They worked as quietly as possible and kept us informed of the progress. The second team for foam leveling our slab and led by Daniel, got it all done in part of a day. They were also courteous and even helped move furniture. When the work of both teams was finished Alex, the foreman, walked us through an inspection and answered all our questions. Finally, Matthew circled back at the end and made sure"

"A timely and efficiency job has been done. Near Me Roofing Company has good knowledge about roof, brought quite a few samples along with him and explained throughfully. After the explaination it is much easier to know what you need. The job took one day. The crew cleaned up pretty nicely and even cleaned my neighbor's driveway. Overall, it is a nice and smooth experience, and I will recommand in the future."

"The Slabjack NW crew was very efficient and professional. They took a look at the job when they got on site, described what they could and could not do, and got right to work. Once they were done, everything was cleaned up and the holes we patched. Only way I can tell they were even there is that my concrete patio slabs are now level with one another!"

"They came in when we were hoping that they would come in which was good. They drilled through the foundation very quickly and quite faster than what we were expecting them to. They were done very quickly. It was clean when they were gone. They took off and it was great. Our experience with them was fine. The quality of their work was fine. They were very responsive."

"As I mentioned before, Russell was very helpful before we got started with getting an appropriate bid together for the FHA inspector and the mortgage lender. Russell really seemed to care that I understood what each part of the project would entail. He was friendly and finished each aspect of the project in timely manner. The first part of the job was leveling up the kitchen floor. To do this, Russell demolished the floor and replaced the beam underneath. He also had to dig out a whole lot of dirt in the crawl space to improve the access under the house. This was all dirty work, but Russell was very good about cleaning up, even if the kitchen was a dirt hole for a few days. I decided to change a closet in the bedroom to a utility/laundry room off the kitchen. He helped me design that and had a very good subcontractor help with the framing. When some problems replacing with the sewer line came up ( line was buried under 12 inches of poured concrete, instead of a 3 inch slab) he had solutions to deal with that and was clear about what he was up to. He also has a great attitude and a good sense of humor."

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Kingston, WA

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
