Unlike previous contractors who find the shortest and easiest way to finish the project without regards to the long term consequences of future maintenance, Matt’s focus is in the long-term efficiency of any installation or project for our satisfaction and enjoyment of the product installed. This is the second time I had him work on a home project and found him being very consistent in his attention to details. The plumbing and electrical project we had was very tricky and complicated since our townhome is more than 50 years old. With many “patchwork” repairs done by previous owners/contractors, adding new wiring was not as straightforward. Yet, Matt and his team were able to save us the cost of adding a subpanel box after they took the time to assess all the existing wiring. Matt not only works to understand the purpose of the job requested but also takes into account the visual aesthetics involved in the project. He has outstanding expertise in planning and preparing for the project such that there is excellence in the completion of the project. He takes the time to evaluate and understand the current condition of the house and explains the process in detail to get to the end-result that is expected upon completion. "Great experience from start to finish: - reached out to JR after finding his company on Angi. JR responded promptly, arrange for time to visit, was on time and professional and turned a competitive quote within a day or two - once the custom door was ready, his team arrived and worked for two days to remove windows, replace those with a door and redo drywall around the new door. Adjusted fast when encountered an issue with existing frame, but figured it out. The door looks great. They cleaned up during and after work/finish and were super professional. - had an issue with an outdoor plug they installed, JR responded very quickly and had his person come back to adjust on same day. And then had his electrician come and rearrange the rest. Works perfectly now. In short, I would certainly use JR and his team again and would certainly recommend to others. Provides great service, stands behind his work and all at a fair price!"

"I needed to replace the cabinet flooring beneath the kitchen sink due to a leaking disposal. Bernardo and his team responded in a timely manner and offers a very reasonable price. They started the work immediately, even cleaning and disinfecting the area to prevent mold damage. I will certainly be calling Bernardo again for all my carpentry needs."

"Team did not know what they were doing, always confused. Starz overquoted and underperformed. They used nails instead of screws, causing deep holes, missing nails, loose ends, cheap, splintered wood, and deck was 50 inches tall, requested 52. There were various cuts in the wood, wood splitting, a piece of wood loose where they cut the post hole and didn't secure it to the deck. For the pool, they used regular sand, not compaction sand. The bottom of the pool is bumpy. They put the pool coves behind the uprights holding the frame firm. They had to take the pool apart to take out the coves and put back the uprights. The first time they installed the pool, it was 2 inches higher than the deck. They broke down the pool and removed sand on one side to meet up with the deck. The pool is lopsided and water is 6 inches deeper on one side. I had to pay an additional $300 for them to reinstall. The second time they installed the pool, it still did not flush with the deck. I have to redo it all."
