Service call was okay.  Magic Plumber installed the kitchen faucet at $234.00 and repaired a leaky faucet sink at $78.00.  Surprisingly, the cost for the faucet installation was significantly higher than the faucet I purchased ($179.00) and provided the plumber.  My total plumbing bill was $312.00.  I estimated that after subtracting the part for the leaking sink, the labor on my plumbing bill was $302.00.  This was a definite I opener as to how high plumbing service calls can cost.  I did need and appreciate the service, but I feel taken advantage by the aggressive exorbitant fees.  A definite eye opener.

"In the end, we were more than totally pleased with all the work done by Wilson Delgado. He made several trips (always punctual) out to the country to pickup and return furniture, and also to deliver fabric books and samples for our clear vinyl slipcovers. We had minor glitches as he was unexpectedly called out of the country for a family emergency, but in his absence, I was contacted to let me know the reason for the delay. Then, Covid-19 hit and he was in protective covering when he delivered our last piece of furniture. At all times, he was professional, courteous, and treated our furniture and home as if it was his own. So far as pricing and how long he quoted for all the work-----believe it or not, he was just about half of what the other upholstery shop quoted me, and also the work was completed faster than the other shop. He is truly a talented craftsman that takes pride in his work."

"I sincerely did not have a problem with the professional service per se, the technician was professional prompt on time, and knew what he was doing. On Dec 9, 2020, it took him about 30 minutes to figure out the problem and found the unit is still under warranty. He ordered the part and told me once the part is received, I will be contacted to schedule replacement. I called the office they did not call me. They were quick in responding and replaced the part on Dec 19. Cost is my main issue. They wanted $119.95 for diagnosis fees which WILL NOT be considered a part of the final repair fees. I believe it’s not a good business not to tell the client beforehand how much you will charge as service fees, they did not. Only after they diagnosed it. After a discussion with the technician, he talked to the office and the service fee was forfeited. The part replacement cost was $403! It took less than 30 minutes, 25 to be exact, to replace. Not sure how the rate of this charge is justified. I was told about the $403 charge right after the first visit but did not have a choice at that point. With all due respect, I understand, as explained to me, they have more overhead budget more than mom and pop shops. I still believe this total repair should not have been more than $250 at the most."

"I called Rescue1 based on Angie's List reviews and was not disappointed.  Il left the repair cost box blank because everyone's needs will vary, based on the job, complications, etc.  I did call two other plumbers for estimates, and Larry's estimate was extremely competitive.  Larry listened to my description of the small rust marks around and on my water heater, and agreed that it probably needed to be replaced.  I'm happy that he is tech-savvy -- the night before the repair, I thought I had a major problem, and texted him with the question.  He responded ASAP to my question -- problem solved!  He and his assistant showed up on time, used the little booties religiously, and got right to work.  He was attentive to my concerns about the placement of the drain pan and heater itself.  He even made a proactive fix to a drain pipe because he didn't like its potential for leaking. Larry answered all my questions, educated me about how to keep the water heater running well, and had a great can-do attitude.  I will definitely use Recsue1 for my future plumbing/gas work.

"During the initial contact, I was impressed with the explanation of the testing process provided by the individual who answered my call. I was equally impressed by Mr. Robinson's step-by-step explanation while he set up the equipment to perform the test. He explained his licensing and the accuracy of the test that he was conducting. He was professional, efficient and possesses a great deal of expertise in his chosen field. "Kenny Ferguson is very responsive to customer requests. He communicates well to the customer and to his men. Fernado and Mike were very careful in their work and aimed to please the customer. The lights and painted ceiling looked great. They were very pleasant and yet professional in their attitude and work. They cleaned up everything when they were done. I have another job waiting for Kenny and his team to install an attic fan. I have confidence that they will do good work as they have done in the past.

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
