"The repair to the shutoff valve was straight forward and was done quickly and professionally.  The bathtub repair was more involved beacuse they had to cut into the plywood floor from the basement access panel and then remove the drainage pipe which was cracked. They made the repair and there have been no further problems. Techniction was friendly, explained what needed to be done and went over the pricing before starting work. They have standard charges for each type of service which appear a little on high side but the price is the price no matter what it takes so if it is very quick you may feel overpriced but if they take a lot longer you don't pay more. 
I previously had purchased their Diamond Service which insured same day response and a discount on services which was applied in this case.  They also do annual free inspections as part of this service.

"I sincerely did not have a problem with the professional service per se, the technician was professional prompt on time, and knew what he was doing. On Dec 9, 2020, it took him about 30 minutes to figure out the problem and found the unit is still under warranty. He ordered the part and told me once the part is received, I will be contacted to schedule replacement. I called the office they did not call me. They were quick in responding and replaced the part on Dec 19. Cost is my main issue. They wanted $119.95 for diagnosis fees which WILL NOT be considered a part of the final repair fees. I believe it’s not a good business not to tell the client beforehand how much you will charge as service fees, they did not. Only after they diagnosed it. After a discussion with the technician, he talked to the office and the service fee was forfeited. The part replacement cost was $403! It took less than 30 minutes, 25 to be exact, to replace. Not sure how the rate of this charge is justified. I was told about the $403 charge right after the first visit but did not have a choice at that point. With all due respect, I understand, as explained to me, they have more overhead budget more than mom and pop shops. I still believe this total repair should not have been more than $250 at the most."

"Mr. Delgado came to my home to estimate costs of repairing (replacing arms, reattaching seats) and re-upholstering my 6 dining room chairs, and was able to take the chairs with him that day.  He returned the chairs having not only repaired the arms and seats, but also having buffed out leg scratches and dings and generally polished up all of the wood.  The upholstery was well done, matching stripes/seams accurately.  We were very happy with the work.

"Larry arrived shortly after we talked and, in spite of the fact that it was already in the mid 90s with about 180% humidity and he was coming from another job estimate, Larry Counts arrived in pressed chinos, clean work boots and a company polo!!  We met outside in the blazing sun so I could fully explain what I needed in a main water line replacement.   We discussed the process of replacing an underground  line (mine is over 150 ft) and the options of connecting to the County meter and to my house plumbing lines.   Larry also described my options in piping material available and included the pros and cons of each.  I asked him to make the necessary measurments, contact his boring man and give me estimates to replace my line using both copper and black plastic.  I explained there was no rush for the estimate because I didn't intend to have the work done until the weather got cooler in the Fall. 
I have not yet received Larry's estimates and I am definitely not expecting to get my lowest estimate from Rescue1Plumbing, BUT, I really believe I have already met a true professional in Larry Counts, that I WILL get good, comprehensive estimates from him and, whatever work I have done by Rescue1Plumbing undobtedly  WILL be of the highest quality.

"I didn't have work done, but I called to find out about getting an inspection for mold in my house based on a previous leak. I told the person that I wanted to see if they would be able to better a previous quote from another company. I was told I could pay $325 for a mold test or I could have them come out for a $95 service call for them to assess the area and that would come off the total of the estimate if I have the work done. They didn't seem very eager to help and were not overly friendly. Maybe I'm just looking for some better customer service."

"Choice was fast, efficient, and kept me posted on the progress of the claim. Although the water leak issue was discovered on a Friday, they had a plumber there to investigate by Saturday morning. When it was determined that the 20+ year old heater needed to be replaced, the replacement ordered, on-site, and installed by Wednesday morning. I am glad that we opted for the Choice Ultimate plan as other than the initial $65 service fee, all but one $50 ancillary expense was covered."

"Ferguson Home Improvements did a fantastic job.  All the work that needed to get done, was finished beyond my expectations.  The workers were very friendly.  The job took a little longer that expected, but Ferguson Home Improvements were not at fault, the weather played a major factor with the deck stain and door installation.  At the time the work was getting done, we received a lot of rain and storms.  All in all, I would highly recommend Ferguson Home Improvements.

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
