"Exceptional work and totally professional. Everyone who Anton brought onto this job was a great craftsman, and each was polite, arrived early, worked the whole time diligently, and seemed to really specialize in whatever their job was. The level of work is exceptional, the attention to detail really impressive. I work from home, so I kind of had my eye on the guys throughout the job, and just watching them size and cut each piece of siding not only put me at ease, but also taught me a lot about carpentry. The dry wall on the interior is top-grade. I got fussy over paint colors, and Anton was gracious and accommodating with my changes of heart. Anton also has a deep knowledge of historic, reclaimed woods, as well as quite an inventory to pick from. He was so good with the cedar trim on the exterior that I had him frame a painting to hang in our main house in the same style and it looks great. Best of all, they came up with solutions to problems I didn't even know I had, such as how to properly frame the exterior light that I installed myself before they got here (see photos). Please note that the exterior work is not painted in the photos, as it is too cold to paint, so we'll wait until Spring."

He also installed a new tile bathroom - shower - vanity - toilet, making the most of a small space. He also intalled a new water heater and washer/dryer unit, as well a wall-mounted heater/AC. In another house adjacent, Joe Rossi removed a crumbling stone porch and replaced it with a new stone porch/ steps, with a sturdy metal railing around, getting my property more curb cred. For each project, Joe Rossi gave his full attention to all details in a timely and professional manner. He kept me updated about each project and explained what needed to be done and how."

Within a few days, Jose was there to remove the existing gutters so that I could paint the facia underneath before the new gutters were installed. Alan was very accommodating. "We recently had central air installed and needed to get rid of the former through the wall air conditioning units. When we first contacted Tom, he said he was booked through October, but he would come out and give us a quote. We made the appointment for the quote and he came as promised, looked at the work to be done and said he'd be able to do everything from AC removal to patching and final paint. He worked up a quote and e-mailed it to us within 24 hours. As we were not expecting the work to be done until mid-October, it was a pleasant surprise to hear from him in late September asking if it was a good time to start the job. He was very prompt and showed up when he said he would. He was also very meticulous about his work, cleaning up the work areas each day and hauled away the old AC units for us. The work was completed over the course of a week as he applied several layers of spackle which needed to dry fully before further application or paint. The walls look fantastic and you would't know that we used to have AC units as his work was seamless. We also had a small drywall repair job that we added when Tom arrived and he took care of it for us without additional charge. We plan to hire him again for future projects in our house and will recommend him to others."

"We were extremely pleased with the job in every way. Alberto and his crew were meticulous in preparing the surfaces, painting them, and cleaning up afterwards. We ourselves had to do very little preparation?just the removal of art-work and mirrors from the walls. All furniture and rugs were carefully moved by the crew, protected during the painting, and returned to their original location afterwards. The painting itself was done efficiently and accurately; it looks beautiful. It included painting a high ceiling in the open living area, which required working on a tall ladder. After every day's work, the house was left clean and tidy. Alberto explained what he was doing at each step of the way and kept to the timetable which he had promised. He and his crew were always courteous, friendly, and pleasant to be around. Alberto himself went above and beyond in a few instances, for example by painting two large shelves that weren't part of the contract and by installing a new wall fastener for a heavy mirror. We would certainly use New Sunrise again and give them our highest possible recommendation.
