"I would recommend Shelby mechanical the price to install my faucet was less than other places I called they did a good job and had to install two new shut-off valves also and took the time to turn the water back on and open the outside spicket so my pipes wouldn't burst they did a lot of work and earned their money and they were very pleasant and save me some money by tightening the thing that was leaking on my shut off valve that was loose that I thought I had to get my whole valve replaced but all he did was have to tighten it someone else might have told me I needed to replace the entire thing I would hire them again"

"After buying the offer on Angie's List, within a day, the owner emailed me asking when I wanted to have them come install the new sump pump. He was very accommodating with my schedule, and got it scheduled within a few days. The day of the appointment, the plumber showed up early and I actually was not home yet, and he waited patiently. When I arrived he was very courteous, he took off his shoes when coming in the house. He did the replacement of the sump pump, and tested it to show me it was working. Then he cleaned up the basement floor of water and mud that had fallen on the floor - left it as it was when he got there, and took the old sump pump out by the curb - it happened to be garbage day. Overall excellent experience."

"We contracted with JAM Home Services (Jeff) to repair and paint walls, ceilings and closets in the living/dining room and 3 bedrooms of our house. We also asked about installing base board where missing/damaged and also installing shoe molding in all rooms (we had just had carpeting removed and hardwood floors refinished), While his was not lowest estimate for the project, we were impressed with his knowledge, suggestions for successful completion and his professionalism. At our request, he suggested several colors that would work with the hardwood floors. We agreed on a start date, which had to be firm, to meet a specific timeline to place our house on the market. A week before start date, he checked in with us to be sure we still on schedule. As it happened, other projects were already completed, so he started a week earlier than planned and completed the project withing the 4 days he had originally estimated. We could not have been more pleased with the result! Each day, the work space was cleared and cleaned, except for drop cloths left to protect floors. He repaired a baseball-sized hole in the wall in one bedroom, repaired a crack in the plaster above a door in the living room, filled all nail holes. The paint on all ceilings, wall and closets was smooth and even - no messy corners or bleeding edges. The new base boards and and shoe molding were such great enhancements to the rooms. "We had a little scheduling hiccup in the beginning, but got them to come out a little later that same day.  Nice couple guys came out and troubleshooted the problem, at the end they thought it might be the water heater, but weren't sure.  A year later I changed the water heater and the noise stopped.  They only charged me nominally since they could not put their finger on the cause.
