I am so glad I've taken my time to find good, honest, trustable and fair plumbing company, and I finally found this R-Plumber company. A few months ago, my place had a water leak in the shower on upstairs bathroom and it caused ceiling damage, etc. so I needed to a ceiling drywall repair, bathroom tile repair, CPVC pipes reconnect, water pressure reducer install, etc. I took my time to compare various popular local plumbing companies in the DMV area and this is, by far, the best I've found due to many reasons: 1. They are licensed, bond, and insured -- They sent me a copy of their license, bond, insurance, and worker compensation. This gave me a relief because I wanted to make sure I hire a professional. You'll need it in case if anything happens. 2. They really care about you and HONEST -- Rene, Luis, his apprentice, and other staff use the best brand and told ,e really honest and professional opinion. I have a limited budget and they told me I can just fix the issue for now. The other companies recommended me to remodel the whole bathroom, which would cost at least $4,000 or much more. 3. Their price is VERY REASONABLE and FAIR -- They do not overcharge at all in compare to other companies in this area. I compared 6 other plumbing companies. Other plumbing companies seem to take advantage of you especially if you don't really know much about plumbing. They either: - could only offer to fix the plumbing and I had to find my other contractor to repair the tiles and dry wall - offer me to fix this issue for $4,500 or more - R Plumber offer me about 40-50% less than other companies. - another well known company (they were featured in local Costco) gave me a price to fix my sink popup assembly for about $700 but I went to home depot and bought the parts myself for $17. 4. They really guarantee that they carry their work by the correct local regulations and to the high standard. -- you can see the photos for reference. - I ASKED them a lot of questions and researched the way they do they work online and everything seems to be done very correctly (e.g., using the right glue, chemical for connecting my CPVC pipes, copper pipes) - They went above and beyond in installing my water pressure reducing pipe by anchoring my water supply pipes so it doesn't get shaky. - They have 1 year labor warranty. Their shower MOAN is lifetime warranty on parts. In fact, I am so impressed that I literary have to write my appreciation on various social media in a hope to help others who are in the same situation as me. This company doesn't spend on marketing but just spend on high quality so I'm really trying to help get this company to top review to help others who are in the same boat. "This is the second time I've hired DB's Plumbing & Drain and I continue to be very happy with them. This time, there were two problems: A main sump pump that had died and a backup sump pump I had connected with flexible tubing which began springing pinhole leaks within months and spraying water all over the room. DB's swapped the dead pump with a spare I had on-hand and reattached the backup pump to the outflow pipe with standard PVC piping. They also joined both pumps to the main pump's larger outflow pipe with a Y-junction which should improve the backup's rate of flow. While they were at it, they replaced the check valves and disposed of a lot of rusty nails and junk that had been swept into the sump pit over the years. All told it only took 2 hours and now everything is quieter, no water spraying around and I have peace of mind that the place isn't going to flood in the next winter storm."

"Without a doubt, I will call this company for any future needs. Last year, I had regular maintenance done on my furnace and they scared the crap out of me when they told me I needed a bunch of work done and repairs on my gas furnace. I held off and crossed my fingers all last winter and decided this year was finally time to face it... so began the phone calls.. then I got a return call from Parrish services. Alan, the owner, came to my house at 7 p.m. on a Friday to do a check on my gas furnace. This was after one company told me it would be a $6800 replacement job, and another told me $69 bucks just for them to come look at it and even then they would only tell me they'd call me Monday morning to confirm and then call me at some point Monday to let me know then they were within 30 minutes of being here, but couldn't give me any idea of what time that would be. Ugh. Add to the mix that I'm a single mom and I used to just pick up the phone and call my dad for advice on EVERYTHING.... he passed away a little over a year ago and this was the first major home issue that I had where I couldn't get my dad's advice... let the meltdowns begin... Alan came and put all my fears to rest. He was completely honest and said he didn't think I really needed to do anything right now. As a woman, it can feel like I have a great big red bullseye on my forehead when I start talking about home repairs to some of these contracting companies.... They're one of the few good guys out there that really just want to do right by their customers and aren't out to nickel and dime anyone or use scare tactics just to get a commission.
