"I was told my serviceman would arrive between 10am-12pm. He called me at 9:30 that he would arrive in about half an hour & he did, right at 10am. I had a list of specifics to be checked because I bought the service discounted through Angie's list & I asked how he did each thing on the list as he did it & he explained in detail each thing he was doing. He found nothing wrong with my furnace & I told him I was pleased with that because I've had others make up things wrong that aren't just to make money & I am hiring someone because I can't tell when things are wrong & his company did not do that. He asked if there were any questions that he had not yet answered. He also told me how old my furnace was because it was in my house when I moved in & I didn't know. He was very informative, polite, prompt & I am much more at ease that I won't have a heating problem when I need my furnace most."

"My experience with Jose L who did the work was great. He was prompt, professional, friendly and helpful. He was patient with my questions and showed clear dedication to delivering a quality experience. I would rate him straight As across the different categories. Scheduling the service was a different story. I'd grade that a C at best, maybe D. After multiple emails and phone calls that were not returned we finally got someone on the phone and scheduled the service, but they still couldn't provide us full information on the estimated cost of a simple repair. On top of that, it was a 6 week wait for someone to come out. We've been happy with Shavitz in the past but this was a bad experience. We're on their maintenance plan so we hope that will mean better service in the future."
