"The technicians were nice people and gave feedback that the rust we were concerned with was probably from condensation and the tank was in good shape. However, they did NOT use a camera to inspect it. I was told the camera was only for gas hot water heaters? (the coupon does not specify this) Also, when they performed the full tank drainage, they did not turn off the circuit breaker or power to the tank. After they left, we then had failure of the upper heating coil. A technician did come out quickly and found the problem and replaced that day for a cost of $300. So, we are left wondering if not turning off the power caused the element to fail or if it was coincidental."
