"I couldn't be more pleased with the results--Bob and his crew did absolutely top-notch work for a fair price. This was not an easy job. I have a deck over garage area with rubber roofing and noticed some "soft spots" so I knew the rubber had somehow been compromised and I probably had some rot. When Bob came to do the estimate he was upfront and unfazed by what might be lurking under there. He was confident that he could handle whatever it was and he certainly did! He estimated a fair base cost and we agreed that as he opened things up we would assess again from there on sort of an a la carte basis. Bob's crew worked very hard and left the work site clean as a whistle every day. The crew was always professional, friendly and happy to answer any questions I had. They replaced all the rotten wood, rebuilt a portion of the deck (better than the original), put on a new rubber roofing surface, reflashed a full side of windows and reshingled everything. Early on in the re-shingle, I discovered that the color of the shingles was off and that we might have the wrong ones. That ended up being the case but Bob didn't hesitate to make it right. The next day his guys removed the shingles (involving several hours of work the previous day) got the right shingles and started in again. Bob also suggested to me (not a hard sell at all) that I consider a vinyl railing system in consideration of my location on the ocean. He said he'd be happy to repair my wooden system if I wanted but that he'd heard great things about the vinyl (Fairway system). Again, he gave me a very reasonable price. I thought about it and decided to move ahead with it. The installation was very professionally done and I am extremly pleased with how it looks (and I'm pretty fussy about how things look). There were a few tricky places where tying into my house could have looked great or lousy but we discussed potential solutions for each one and they put in the extra craftsmen-like touches to make it look right. I really appreciated that. Bob's crew also repaired and re-assembled the decking pallets that were to be placed on top of the rubber roofing. A complete job end-to-end with consistency of quality and ease of interaction throughout. I told Bob I'd be very happy to be a reference for anyone interested in his services and would gladly hire him again for other work I may have down the road."
