"Eric was very professional and showed computer diagrams of what my wife and I wanted in a metal carport. The other companies just wanted to put their model and place it on my concrete. We designed this just for our house. They also did a very good job on the lean-to awning for my back patio. They said yes when all the other steel building companies said no. They also we're within price range of all the other companies. So we spent the same money to get a custom steel building. We are very happy with the speed of service and the professionalism of the total work crew of this company. If you want a steel garage these are the guys you want to go with they are fast. But they do extremely excellent work in a professional manner. And we are now the proud owners of a custom carport that we designed together. Not just some Factory model put on this site. "I would like to give a shout out to Eric and I-construct for the new awning. They installed this for us in less than a day! He showed up for the initial inspection on time and gave me a quote on the spot. It only took a few weeks to get the material and was out in a few days at the time he said he would be on site to install. We were a little leary of what a "metal" roof would look like, but we could not warrant paying so much for a wood and shingle "shed" roof. We couldn't be happier with the appearance and workmanship. They did an awesome job. Glad we found them on FB and decided to use them for our roof. Thanks Eric and crew!!"

"I met with the Winston-Salem local representative, Bryan Sepich. He was prompt in his estimate, and was willing to work with us when we had to scale back our project due to budgetary constraints. He arranged for a local carpenter to build the necessary framework for the new roof, then came in to do the actual roof, guttering, soffits and tidy up where the roof hit my siding. I found Bryan to extremely quality conscious, and he went as far as sending the siding person back by my house after he noticed something that wasn't up to his standards during his post-job lookover. I'm going to have them do my house and garage in the fall.

"We were very impressed with Craftsman Direct and Randy Thruston, the builder who worked on the project. We picked this company based on the Angie's list reviews and were not dissapointed. Lee gave us a prompt call and Randy stopped by to review the project. We received an estimate, shortly thereafter. Since we were going to put holes on an existing, perfectly good roof to create Dormer Windows, we wanted to make sure that we hire the right person for the job. Some background information revealed that Randy is a Master Carpenter who builds homes and also had a BBB rating of A+. He continued to impress us with his meticulous attention to detail, made sure that we were comfortable with the placement of the windows before he put a single hole in the roof. Thankfully, he is definitely in the camp of "measure multiple times, and cut only once".
His work ethic is exemplary. He would be at the house at 7:45 and he and his helper, Bubba (also very skilled), would start work immediately and even skip lunch and go until past 5. When we would ask him to take lunch his response was that they had to keep going to finish on time. We had a couple of snow storms during the construction, and that caused some unforeseen delay, but that didn't deter them one bit. He just moved the snow of the roof and went at it. We have done quite a few construction projects over the years, but have not yet met a team of this work ethic and caliber.
Randy took care of the Permits, the inspections and all passed without a problem. The price quoted was very competitive and there were no surprises. The work was very well done, the job site very clean, and we could not be happier with the end result. Thank you Randy and Craftsman Direct.

"Mr. Beeler and his crew were a pleasure to work with.  This is a simple operation but they have the knowledge and skill to do any type of concrete job.  As with many smaller local operations, this was a very casual engagement, mostly through txt messages and email (there was no formal contract but that did not bother me at all as we had txt records of the conversation).  This was a small job but it ended up being a bit more than what I thought it would be. Having said that, this was considered to be a relatively small job and I had a bit of runaround from other contractors and couldn't even get to have somebody come look at it.  Mr Beeler came, looked and promptly told me what needed to be done.  Once the first part of the job was done, it was unfortunately not looking very good. I called Mr Beeler and he came and looked at it and was upset and extremely apologetic (he had another member of the crew work on it and told me they had to use a lesser grade of concrete because they couldn't put the right equipment through my narrow driveway).  In the end, he made it right and offered to pave over it with whatever I wanted, at no extra cost. We chose thin brick pavers and they came within the week and installed them. While the crew was there, they did some other extra things without charging anything. For instance, they removed an old metal fence (we are selling the house and had a list of things to do) and took it away. They also fixed some minor cracks on the brick outside the house. Overall based on my experience, I would use Mr. Beeler again for other concrete repair jobs."
