Jim came out the after completion to view the work and talk to us about our experience. Jim and the crew do this type of work regularly, but understood this was all new to us. "We talked to Todd after contacting several re-modelers/handymen about a wet bathroom floor and some moldy drywall. There was a leak we couldn't locate and it was beyond my level of handymanness :-) It was a breath of fresh air talking with Todd. The previous contractors were visibly irritated and quite rude, and made us feel we were wasting their time because apparently the job was too small for them. One guy even told us that we were keeping him from a $40k kitchen remodel out in one of the suburbs. (Well excuse us moderate income southsiders!) Todd was professional, friendly, and honest. When he says no job is too small, he means it (one afternoon after finishing up some work he mentioned he was headed to a house nearby to help an elderly lady hang a picture!).
Our shower was leaking water outside of the tub and soaking the floor. He located the problem without tearing the entire bathroom apart like some of the contractors wanted to do - it ended up being a simple fix - some strategically-placed caulk. So he fixed the problem as well as the water damaged floor, baseboard, and drywall. We are very happy with his work, professionalism, and price. He will be our first call from now on when we need something done around the house (even if it's hanging a picture straight! Just kidding I think I can manage that.) We recommend him to everyone we know.

"We live in a 75-year-old brick home and were experiencing seeping water a few times a year during very wet periods. We had been shopping around and saving up for this project for a few years. About a year ago, a BBT sales rep to come out to do an estimate. When we were ready to move ahead with the project, he came out again to re-estimate, and once more to finalize the sale. Before signing on the dotted line, I asked about drilling holes in the foundation, because he hadn?t mentioned that and my research had found that that was an important part of the process. He at first said that they would be drilling holes. Then a second later, said he needed to look at our foundation again, because with the age of our home, we might have clay block, not cement block. That was the case, so his story changed? they do not drill holes in clay block. So, we would now need to do an interior wall liner if we wanted to finish that area. So, on the third visit, he was again re-estimating. I wonder how this project would have transpired if I hadn?t asked so many questions. We maybe should have walked away at that point, but we had confidence in the company and the product, though not in their salesman. We were much more impressed by the team that actually did the work and the foreman. He was very receptive to our questions and concerns, and stopped back out twice after they were finished to go over them with us. Our only complaint about the actual work was that we wished they'd cleaned up the dust better. Overall, we're happy with the results and haven't had a problem, although it's probably too early to really judge if the system does the job."

Plumber called about 30 minutes before arriving (as promised upon setting appointment). She wore booties, tested leak under disposal and showed us the actual source of the leak. The connector to the trap was cracked so that and the trap were also replaced. After installing new disposal and testing everything carefully, the plumber left our kitchen very clean and neat. We were given options before deciding what (if any) disposal would be installed. All in all, this was a good experience.
