"Epic Mechanical installed a new heat pump a year ago to replace my old, struggling air conditioner. They did in in good time, even in my cramped attic. The workers were efficient and friendly, and more. Their electrician returned later to add a bigger circuit breaker to make sure it was safe for the potentially added load. After a year, one of their staff returned for a tune up to make sure the new system is ready for the coming summer heat; he came within a day of my call. All around, great service."

"The price was fair and they were able to start almost immediately. Asked the installer multiple times to cover his work area as to not scratch our new wood floors. Of course, he scratched the floors in multiple places. Attempted to contact the owner and he was non responsive on the issue. The unit was installed in September, come October and need to turn the heat on for the first time and there was loud clanging and metal noises. Called to have someone from this company service the unit on Friday afternoon and was told that “it isn’t that cold that it would be Monday before we could look at it” (it was 40 degrees and this is a BRAND NEW unit). Brought up that had we went with a larger company they would send someone out and they do not work after hours or weekends and was basically told you get what you pay for. I would not use this company again in the future. Will probably regret making this post when we need service again in the future."

When he came out he was very professional and ask some very good questions as he evaluated what I had and what I needed. He had a very competitive bid (I received two) Installation was fast. He checked air flow and temperature of the air at vent to make sure the unit was performing correctly. I was very impressed. I would recommend Velvet Ridge Services and will definitely use him in the future."
