"The service was excellent! They arrived to pick up the vehicle a day earlier which was great. They delivered the vehicle right to my daughter's door and found a side street to unload. The service was delivered within the time frame given. All of my questions were answered via phone or email and the paperwork was seamless and the price was very reasonable."

"Dave has done a lot of different work for us from installing tile in our kitchen, air conditioner start up and winterize, building a cover for our patio, installing a garbage disposal, installing a over-the-range microwave, and other various plumbing jobs. Dave has always done excellent work and his fees are reasonable. We would not hesitate to recommend Dave's Handyman for any of your handyman work. You might even get him to give you a short line dance lesson."

"They build all of their products custom to each opening. The installer came out and measured before I ordered. They came back out after the guards were delivered to install them. They custom designed a set to match my doors. The finished product is beautiful."

"Paul and Mike were on time to meet me at the rental houses. <br /> They went right to work on the first unit which is a breeze air cooler.  They got it up and running and programed the remote.  While Paul was up on the roof he noticed a few shingles that had come off and/or loose.  I asked if he could do a quick repair on them and he completed it before we moved on to the next house.  At one of the houses Paul had to replace a drain fitting and at another he let me know that the cooler was started but on it's last leg.  He explained to me how I would know when the cooler was going to have to be replaced.  By the time we arrived at the last house it was starting to rain and I asked if he would like to come back and finish the last one later and he said no it would be fine for them to finish in the rain.  I really appreciated them finishing so I wouldn't have to make a second trip to meet up with them. <br /> I was very pleased with Paul's work.  He is quick, polite, and competent.  His prices were more than fair.  I will definitely call Paul back to do work for me again. <br />"

"Ken Ward does excellent work. He is professional, personal, and trustworthy. He has been working in GJ for over 30 years and had several references I was able to talk with before hiring him for the job. He gave me a free estimate and was willing to fit in the extra work I found for him. He pays attention to detail and had me look over everything before he finished the work. I could trust him fully with my house, belongings and family whether I was at home or away at work."

FAQs for thermostat installation and replacement projects in Loma, CO

Smart thermostats may be worth it for many homeowners. They come with various features, including voice control and smartphone apps. Vacation mode can help lower energy usage when you’re out of town for an extended period. Alert warnings let you know about major spikes or drops in temperature. Smartphone apps can track energy usage, and smart thermostats can learn your routine over time to adjust your temperature and reduce wasted energy consumption automatically.

You typically do not need more than one smart thermostat. While it’s common to see multiple mechanical thermostats throughout a large home, multiple smart thermostats may try to override each other. This can lead to problems with the HVAC system. Ensure the unit you buy has the option for dual- or multi-zoned systems to avoid compatibility issues.

Installing a programmable or smart thermostat may save you $180 per year in utility costs. A big part of this comes from a smart thermostat’s ability to learn and adapt to your regular routines. With smartphone apps or web-based interfaces, you also have the option to control your thermostat when you’re not home.
