"Mark Lemenager was very knowledgeable. He was our initial inspector, and he provided us with thorough, insightful information regarding our foundation issues. Darryl, David, and the rest of the work crew were very professional and accommodating. They even came by the next day to inspect the flooring to make sure everything was level. We were highly impressed by them."

"It went great. Milher arrived promptly and began work immediately. They were phenomenal with how they deconstructed the fence and rebuilt the fence in a timely manner. They asked my input before securing the fence. They made sure all measurements were correct. What I am most impressed by was how they raised up my existing fence in areas that weren’t providing me any privacy. What surprised me more so was the fact they cleaned up, shoveled, and raked up remnants of where the fence previously stood. They were excellent. Awesome!!!"

"After reviewing our situation CFS recommended we contact a brick mason to rebuild the support columns.  His conclusion was that it would not be a good investment to utilize their services for the repair I needed.  He also surveyed our fireplace and attached porch and noted potential areas to keep and eye on. <br /> No pressure at all to contract for services, he was very knowledgeable and professional.  He provided good background information for us to understand what had caused the problems (ground settling) and how to monitor for future changes. <br /> While we did not contract with CFS I would not hesitate to recommend them or use them in the future. <br />"

"My HOA management company hired them to level side walks and reduce tripping hazards.  They put large eye hooks into the sidewalk and door step slabs, lift them with jacks and beams and inject a synthetic under the slabs. They then they lower the slabs, remove the eye hooks, and fill the eye hook holes. Very quick and the immediate results are great.   <br /> They were happy to explain the process and I found them straight forward and professional. <br />"

"Expert House Movers brought a crew of 6-8 & came in late August 2013 to start the process of raising & moving the house.  My husband had done all the prep work of disconnecting the utilities & removing the furnace, etc. They dug access ramps to the old foundation/basement with bobcats.  They poked good sized holes around the foundation so they could put in steel beams and jack up the house.  Our foundation was from 1917 & built from old creek gravel cement, so it was pretty tough.  It took three & half days to jack the house & move it over the driveway.  It seemed really fast to me.  The only thing to fall in the house was a picture off the piano.  We still had access to the house through a tall ladder to get clothes, etc. that we needed. <br /> We took over the process of arranging excavation, concrete pouring, and carpenters with more local contractors.  Expert does have concrete people & others they use in the St Louis area that know exactly the requirements needed for the new foundation. <br /> After the basement was poured & cured (curing takes about 3-4 weeks), Expert returned in October 2013 to move & set the house.  They had been in contact with the concrete man for specifications, but there were no slots for the beams when setting the house down.  A concrete worker had to come & cut those slots.  We had a carpenter on hand to finish the sill installment & make sure the sills for the permanent beams was correct & set the support posts in the basement.  We also had a friend's tractor help Expert's bobcat pull the house back over the foundation.  While all this was going on, Expert was jacking and moving supports & placing slider beams & raising & lowering the house.  The process was complete in about 2 1/2 days with care & precision.  Some of the cracks in our house even disappeared.  Great job guys. <br /> Our carpenters returned to build a staircase & some other requirements.  We are working on re-connecting utilities & returning the furnace, water heater, etc. to the new basement.  We plan to move back into the house in the first week or so in November 2013.  It's been a long process, but well worth it.  Made possible by Expert House Movers! <br />"

"My building turned out better than I could imagine. Vince was a true visionary and provided helpful suggestions as to the windows, floor plan and even wood trim. I incorporated all of his suggestions and they made a big difference to the over all appeal and trendy look of the boutique that I was trying to achieve. He is very easy to work with and despite my Type-A perfectionistic personality and he was very patient with me and professional. He made the entire process so easy. After the construction was complete on the building I was approached on several occasions by others inquiring about availability for their business. It was a great feeling considering the poor shape the building was in prior to the construction. Best suggestion is to get Elite Construction involved early in your project. And last, they worked with my budget. <br />"

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Longs, SC

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
