"For over 20 years my wife and I used another A rated Angie’s List heating and air conditioning firm and we have given them good reviews in the past. Recently our 20+ year old heater started acting up. At times throughout the day or night the burner wouldn’t ignite and we would be without heat. After seven service calls and various parts at the cost of $700.00 our old service company could not repair the heater and the problem remained unresolved. So we decided to get estimates to replace our entire HVAC system mainly due to it’s age and this unsolved problem. Vaughan Heating and Air Conditioning was on our list of acceptable companies to speak with due to their Angie’s List A rating. We called Vaughan and they sent Tony Pellegrino to our home the next day. My wife and I were very impressed with Tony. He spent over an hour at our home scoping out our basement, configuring our new system and answering our questions. Later that day we received the Vaughan estimate that Tony sent by email. I called Tony and he spent another hour on the phone addressing my questions and concerns. We received the other competitor's estimates over the next two days. We accepted the Vaughan’s estimate which was $1,100.00 more then the lowest estimate and $2,500.00 less then the highest estimate we received. Our choice was based on our comfort level with Tony, the price of the job, the longevity of the company (established in 1937) and the quality of the heating and air conditioning units that Vaughan installs. We accepted the Vaughan estimate on Saturday evening and Tony scheduled our job that coming week on Tuesday (for the heater) and Thursday (for the air conditioner). The reason for the one day in between work was because they squeezed our job into an already full week of installations and we were really pleased that they did that for us. On Tuesday morning at 8:30am the installer’s, Marcus and Jeff were at our house ready to start the job. These guys were friendly, professional, extremely competent and also very neat and clean, covering our rugs, etc. Jeff and Marcus did and exceptional job installing our new HVAC system. It’s “state of the art”! My wife and I are extremely happy with the job Vaughan Heating & Air Conditioning did and we could not be more comfortable, then we are now, in our home. "It was a superb experience. From the visit by Bruce the sales representative to the installation day to the follow-up from Petro, every single person we interacted with was helpful and professional. When Bruce arrived to do the assessment, we spent time going over the heating needs in the house. After a thorough inspection and measurement of the house, we sat down. He showed me a few options, all of which were going to provide good service. I ordered a unit at the end of that meeting. The installation day was just terrific- the entire work crew that showed up were everything I would hope to find: Upbeat, informative, hard-working, focused. The job was finished before end of day as promised. The heater room is now immaculate, with new piping and a new heater. It was like watching a pit crew at a NASCAR race. Everyone had their tasks, they moved carefully but quickly. The materials were all laid out in order, etc. Just a totally professional approach to their work. The crew boss answered any questions I had. The follow-up for a normal inspection of the furnace chimney was scheduled the day after the installation. I’ve gotten calls to insure we are satisfied with the work. Satisfied barely covers it- I am pleased to write this kind of review. "Arrived on time for initial diagnostics. I have used this company in the past and as usual they are responsive and prompt. They diagnosed the problem then gave me several options to repair or replace. They did not push a replace option although that is the option I chose. The owner was the first technician to arrive and diagnose and he went above and beyond to get the new unit in and bring in a crew to install next day on a Saturday. Had my A/C up and running in 24 hrs. They answered all my questions and left the area cleaner than when they had arrived. This company is not the cheapest around but then who wants cheap when you can pay a fair price for excellent service. Highly recommend .

"After 33 years of solid service, our central air conditioning system failed on one of the hottest nights of the summer. After spending two hot, sticky days in an extremely warm home, we scheduled appointments with several local HVAC installers to see what options they might offer us for a new system. Happily, one of the companies we found through Internet research and ratings on Angie's List and HomeAdvisor was Air Experts. One of their salesmen, Kevin, was at our house the same morning I submitted an online request for a consultation, and he presented my husband and me with several affordable options for our older home. After hearing from the other companies I had contacted, we found that proposal Kevin prepared for us was the most thorough and affordable of all we received. As soon as the final consultation ended, we contacted Kevin and told him that we wanted to proceed with Air Express. He was able to send me all the required paperwork for review and signature that night, and amazingly, he had installers at our house the next morning. The installers worked diligently for many hours to remove our old unit and install a new one; and my husband and I slept quite comfortably last night with our new air conditioner running quietly and efficiently.
