"I needed a kitchen faucet replaced. I had the new faucet. When I called Milltown, they said they couldnt give me an estimate over the phone, and had to send someone first to see if they could do the job with my faucet. It would cost $85 to do this, whether or not I hired them. The repairman came at the appointed time, was polite and pleasant, and told me it would cost $419, and this was a standard fee. So, it turns out I could have been given a firm estimate over the phone, and had I been, I would have said no thank you and gone elsewhere. It took less than an hour for the faucet to be replaced. Neurosurgery costs less money per hour. I told this to the rep from Milltown who called me a few days later to see how it went. I told them how shocked and disappointed I was with the cost. I said that without a cost adjustment, I would write an appropriate review. It's been a month and no one got back to me. A compete ripoff! Neurosurgery costs less per hour! UPDATE: I was contacted a few weeks ago by the customer service rep who was extremely responsive and asked me what I thought was a fair price for the job, which I gave him, and he honored my request to refund me the difference. Thank you."

"Damien arrived on time, was very hard working, charged an exceptionally fair price, and did an outstanding job. When he left, everything was spotless. He replaced a kitchen faucet, installed a new bathroom faucet/shower head, fixed a running toilet, and even showed me what to use on stubborn hard water stains that I was unable to remove with all the usual methods. We also had him install a second hose for the backyard and replace the existing outdoor spigot. When we redo our bathroom, we will definitely call Damien."

"Rich was very responsive when I called.  Our garage door was not going up and down appropriately.  To go up, someone had to push it. The cables needed to be replaced and he suggested that the springs be replaced as well because they had never been touched since we moved into the house (over 12 years ago) and I was pretty sure they were the originals and thus had been there 26 yrs.  If a spring were to fail, it could snap and seriously injure someone.  I had him do the second garage door as well for the same reason.  As a parent with kids in and out of the garage all the time, I did not want to worry about that.  He also answered some other questions I had and told me to call if anything came up.  Great guy; a pleasure to deal with.  I would recommend Adam's door to anyone:  My neighbor recommended him to me."

John designed and implemented a system of french drains, sub-pump, a layer of river rock, etc. He was immediately expert in diagnosing the problem, proposing a solution (reasonable compared to other estimates but far exceed them in terms of his thoroughness), executed on time and on budget, professional and caring thru and thru. We just had days of deep snow, rain storm (which melted the snow) and the basement looks and all the drains/sub pump functioned as John described. It's clear John's deeply knowledgeable and takes great pride in doing the job right. He was also patient and customer-centric-- answering all my many questions, including followup on any maintenance or things to watch out for. He also offers annual maintenance, trap cleanups too.
