"The walkway next to my garage foundation had sunk about 4 inches. By mudjacking it was raised to the original level and the rain runs away from the foundation instead of running down the foundation. Great job and they explained the process as it was being done. Very satisfied."

"Matt was very professional. He found the exact source of our water leak, replaced the flashing on the chimney, rebuilt the top of our chimney and added a strong concrete cap. Matt cleaned up after every day of work and answered all of my questions before and during the job. He did the work about 3 years ago and the leak hasn't returned. I would definitely hire him again ."

"They built an external patio structure for us, a covered patio structure. They are fantastic, I would recommend them highly to anyone. They were very professional, very conscientious of our time and our communication requests. They were very attentive. Although they were not inexpensive, the service was great for the cost. I would recommend their attention to quality. We had some issues with some of the things they did they have worked to correct those at no additional cost to us and also to make sure they are correct before they are done working with us. They were very good about making sure the things were done and they were done right and they weren't finished until they were done right."

"Ray Brown Jr. came to my house when he said he would be there.  This was a late day emergency - no water from any faucets.  He troubleshot the situation, found the solution and fixed the problem in a very reasonable amount of time and at a very fair price. <br />"

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Macungie, PA

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
