"It took 3-4 business days for someone to be able to come out, but Brian did arrive early within the time frame they gave.  It didn't take more than 10 minutes for him to diagnose the problem, and he had it fixed pretty quickly.  He seemed very knowledgeable, considering it's not a very common brand, and he indicated that if it wasn't just the switch, it would probably not be worth fixing - I appreciated the honesty.  It wasn't a cheap repair, considering it was just an easily-accessible, plug-in switch, but it <i>was</i> about 80% LESS expensive than buying a new washer.  We've used it for about 15 years, so if we get a few more years out of it (which is very likely,) I'll consider it money very well spent.  The only downside of my experience is that in addition to the charge just to come out and look, they also charge by the quarter hour.  I understand the charge to come and look in the first place, but it would be nice if at least the first 15 minutes of diagnosis/repair was included in that service call charge. <br>"

"Scott did a great job on the repairs. I called him Friday and he was out on Monday. I had given him the model #s so he had all the parts required. He called on Sunday to confirm that he would be there on Monday and the approx. time. He fixed everything and tested it to make sure. He is very clean and neat. Cleaned/vacuumed the excess lint out the inside of the dryer while he had it all apart. Wonderful and will use him again for any appliance repairs. Very responsive, very neat and successful repair."

"I contacted Fred's appliance service through their website. They had a technician in our area and he was able to come out same day. He knew exactly what was wrong, had the part in his truck and was able to fix it same day. The drain line coming out of the freezer had clogged and needed to be replaced. Whirlpool acknowledges the faulty part so the part itself is free (paid by Whirlpool). Glad the technician knew all about Whirlpool refrigerators and was able to fix so quickly. He also thawed the freezer enough to get out the layer of ice that had built up."
