"Rick and Josh did an incredible job modernizing our North Asheville home. The quality of the work was excellent and they were communicative and transparent. They added an entirely new deck to the lower level of our home and the craftsmanship was top notch. Rick is a true professional and I would absolutely work with him again."

"Ben and his crew built and addition onto our home. Remodeled the outside from replacing windows and doors to adding a pergola onto our deck and it came out exactly like we were picturing it. Very professional and always keeps you informed as to what is happening and when/what is next. Great crew, friendly, professional, and always cleaned up every day. Highly recommend for any Constuction project."

"The work looks good and was completed in 3 days. The project came in on time and under budget. The sagging door quoted at $75. was fixed at no charge after finding an alternate way to fix. Darrell has a lot of experience and is good at resolving problems at a minimum cost . He and his crew are competent, friendly and show up> I contacted two other contractors, one did not show up and the other reviewed the work and did not respond ."

"Once construction was started, someone was here every day. The workmen were unfailingly polite and hard working. I even had a neighbor comment that a worker asked if he could park his truck on the road in front of her house. Bart, the owner of the company, constantly kept me in the loop, explaining what was going on, and letting me know of possible difficulties that might arise. He also has contacted me after the job has been completed to make sure that I am happy with the work and to remind me that I have a one year warranty."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Maggie Valley, NC

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
