"We contacted Matthew Roberts, Inc. to provide a quote on replacing the heat pump at our home. They had been referred to us by friends who recently had a new system installed by them. Luke was very flexible with scheduling the initial visit and was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. He wasn't a typical Salesman. I could tell after only a few questions that he was someone who knew how to install these systems. We ended up selecting Matthew Roberts, Inc to perform the installation based upon our evaluation of all competitive bids. Our final decision was influenced by a number of factors, including their competitive position, positive referral, the ability to start within 2 days, and our impression of their company based on the first meeting with Luke. Cory and Garrett showed up on time the first day to install our first unit downstairs. They worked nonstop that day and we were back to cool by dinner time. They were professional, meticulous, and left our space clean and tidy. Cory and Tim showed up on time the second day to install our second unit upstairs. Once again, we were back up and running by dinner time. Our space was undisturbed and all evidence of the construction project removed. Good crews. Behind the scenes, Eileen worked with my wife on scheduling and ordering. She was on top of everything and even came to our house to have us sign the paperwork the day before the work started. After the dust settled and we had time to let the systems settle in, Luke followed up and came out to take care of some loose ends and check everything out. Mr. Roberts even made an appearance to thank us for the business. You're welcome, you and your team earned it. I have already recommended Matthew Roberts, Inc. to four others at work who are also in need of A/C repair and replacement and have no doubt that they will deliver."

The professionalism and efficiency of the entire experience starting with the Project Managers Otto Boy and Nick Barker through the actual installation with John and Jimmy were exceptional!! The work was performed with excellence. They had to replace the air handler that had rust and wood rot from water damage with the old unit. And their work was absolutely first rate!! "Technician Mike arrived on time (1:00pm), diagnosed the problem and gave several options to remedy. Given the age of the my system (13 yrs) I opted to replace the entire unit. Mike coordinated with his installation team (Matt and Billy) who arrived by 3:00pm and had the new system installed before 6:00pm the same day. All members of the Service Star team were courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional."

"I recently went on Yelp to write a good review for this guy and his company so I'm pretty much copying and pasting. Trust me, I'm happy to do it for this guy because he saved me a bunch of money and I'm so satisfied with his work.
Had a new 3.5 tons system installed at my house 3 years ago. Yesterday it stopped working. I could hear it trying to kick in so I shut it off. Called the original company (ABCool) and they came out to service it. I was told it was the blower motor in the handler inside the garage. He said don't worry about it you're under warranty for 10 years and he took the blower unit out in like 8 minutes.
He knocks on my door and said he called his office and there was a service charge...$560 to install the new one. I was like...and quot;WHAT?!and quot; There is no way I was going to pay ABCool A/C and Heat that kind of money for something so simple....and with a free part no less.
I called a company I found on Craigslist. No, I'm not crazy. Well, I guess it was risky. I did check to see if he was licensed on the SUNBIZ website. He is. Anyway, today Csaba came out (the Owner of Air 1) picked up my old motor and went up to Goodman Dist and got the replacement. Came back to my house and installed it in about 35 minutes...oh, and checked my pressure and refrigerant at the compressor outside. Cost? Less than $160. Needless, to say, the house is cool and I'm really, really happy. Nice guy too, respectful.

"Would give 6 stars if I could! Tim was very helpful in finding an AC unit that would work best for my apartment while saving me money, which I greatly appreciate. Tim did not try to sell me a more expensive unit and was straightforward when I asked him about different sizes and efficiency ratings, helping me get the best deal while also having an AC unit that runs perfectly. As a full time college student, having to replace my AC is a huge financial burden, and Tim’s prices and service far exceeded that of bigger companies in the area who I also called for a quote, i.e. ARS & Frank Gay. Tim & AJ explained everything being done in a way that made sense, and worked around my complicated schedule. They also took extra time and effort to figure out a way to install the compressor on the roof of my building without having to rent a crane, which saved me a considerable amount of money for this job. The new unit works even better than the last one ever did, and the job was completed quickly. I greatly appreciate their friendliness, flexibility and excellent service and will be using RAIR’s services again in the future.
