"We used our Choice Warranty plan to cover a repair to our furnace. I switched to Choice from American Home Shield, and while the deductible is a little more than AHS, the monthly plan cost is $30 cheaper. This is my first claim, and it was fantastic! I had issues many times with AHS with their timeliness and the ability to receive condition reports from technicians, so this first experience was a relief! First, I submitted my claim online, and while AHS would sometimes reach out, Choice connected me directly to a professional who reached out to me about my issue. Because of this, I did not waste my time explaining the issue to someone who is not a heating or A/C expert and only dealt with an expert. Next, they assigned my claim to Greg's Heat & A/C, and he contacted me directly about the problem. He listened to my issue before coming out and provided an actual time of arrival. Choice provides a window in which to be present. I usually do not like these as it will cause someone to miss some work, but since Greg called and gave a time, I did not have to miss much work at all! Greg showed up on time and repaired the issue quickly and in a professional manner! "We hired Rick and J Co. for a basement remodel, which included tearing down old wood paneling, ceiling panels, old carpet, and adding waterproofing for about 1200 square feet of space. J. Co did a full demolition, and installed all new lighting, carpet, drywall, electrical, paint and a wall that would create a new bedroom. They installed a new closet in the added bedroom, all new custom doors, painted our laundry room floor, and even did a few odd jobs that came up along the way (repairing an old pipe, rewiring a telephone line, helping install the knob for a fireplace to name a few). Rick and his entire team were wonderful to work with. Even with delays of the major flooding that occurred throughout the city, they still managed to finish in great time and delivered a basement we are very proud of. Every detail was addressed and all guys were professional at all times! They left our space clean and beautiful. We would hire J Co. again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them to anyone else!
