"These guys are great! I was having problems with a bathroom at one of my rentals and they were quick to get out there to identify the problem and get it fixed. I would highly recommend them for any of your plumbing needs!"

"Last winter we had no heat, and called Rocky Mountain Air Systems. They came to the house soon after we called them. After a few visits, with the heat going on and off, they determined the venting tubes that ran from the furnace to the outside of the house were too small. The entire unit was only 2 years old. It was installed by a company now out of business. Rocky Mountain Air Systems researched, found out proper size and length of tubing and installed it. We had a deck replaced since the furnace was installed, so they had to cut into the decking to install proper vent. They walked me through every step of the way, making sure I understood, and agreed to the placement of the vent cover. They went above and beyond, and offered to come back and replace a few small pieces of decking that he thought could probably be nailed back on. The job he did was great, and I didn't think the pieces had to be put back. This winter, the heat wasn't on, I called Rocky Mountain Air Systems, and they came only hours later. They replaced a blown fuse, and again, explained the problem to me, and showed me the blown fuse. They are honestly one of the greatest companies I've worked with. They are always friendly, professional and knowledgable. And if they aren't sure of the problem, they are honest with you, and don't stop until they solve the problem. We've owned three houses in Salt Lake, and a cabin, so have needed plenty of service repairs/remodels over the years, and it seems so hard to find companies/individuals that make half an effort, and care about what they do. That is why Rocky Mountain Air Systems is like a "breath of fresh air!""

"They have been great. They cover all appliances, heating, air, and plumbing. It is $60 for an initial visit to have a ticket open. They basically fix whatever the problem is, but any secondary damage, like in my case. I had a pipe burst. They helped me with the pipes, but all of the flooding, I had to go through my homeowners insurance as a result of that. It is a little bit of paperwork, but it has been working well for me.

I didn't do a whole lot of comparison shopping. The first year of service was a gift from my real estate agent. I don't think the price has been awful for what they have covered. I have just had great service and had no reason to change."

"The installation went very well. They arrived on time. Took the pellet stove down a narrow flight of stairs (with no more than one inch clearance) without scratching either the stove or the walls. Once the stove was installed, they added a bag of pellets and then explained thoroughly every aspect of the stove's operation. I had a lot of questions which Chris answered knowledgeably and patiently. I am very pleased with the whole process."

FAQs for gas piping projects in Mammoth-creek, UT

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
