Finally they had someone come out to paint, which did not cover the blue dye or fix the issue with the stained flooring or base boards. "Beware! not so honest. I had a air conditioner that would not start earlier this year and while he was here, I asked about having some general maintenance completed at the same time. I was told it could not be done at that time but the tech suggested that I purchase a maint. package that they would come out twice a year to do general maintenance on the units. He stated that they could do in a week or so, it turned out to be over 1-1/2 months for the 1st maintenance but I should clarify that it really isn't much maintenance but a opportunity to pay them to do a quote for additional work. In addition to this, one of our units was not operational arrived, before he would even move a finger I was required to sign a document for work in the amount of around $340 which ended up taking the technician 15 minutes to replace a blown fuse and loose wire, they charged $116.99 for the fuse (cost $0.1469). Not so honest, much different story from when I initially used them several years ago. "

"Last October, my sister, an elderly veteran living alone, contracted Genie Bath Systems to remodel her master and guest baths. She was diagnosed cancer and passed before the remodel was complete. Which, to be fair as we were not able to work with Genie while attending to my sister. The contract was expensive. Very expensive. The cost of the remodel is close to 1/4th the value of her home. I noticed there were issues with the remodel that showed a surprising lack of attention to detail. Genie sent people to address the issues twice. Yet issues remain. My calls to my contact at Genie are now being ignored. Also, the only document I have for the remodel is the contract my sister signed. It is not detailed. I have and continue to ask for a breakdown of the cost. An estimate or work order. This request is also being ignored. I am disappointed and have to wonder why Genie will not provide this information. I have several other questions for Genie that I will not go into here. But based on my experience, I cannot recommend Genie. In fact I would warn anyone considering Genie to be very careful about the cost of the contract."
