Follow up: I made my decision and signed the contract. Best decision I could have made. They were thousands of dollars less for the exact same equipment than 3 other companies I got estimates from. When challenged none of the other companies could revise their estimate to even come close. Southland is a Mitsubishi diamond dealer so I got full Mitsubishi warranties plus 1 year from Southland of parts and service. The day the installers arrived, on time, it was raining. Jamie and Ricardo used the utmost care to protect my home. They covered the floors, moved and covered the furniture and made sure before they left that I fully understood how to use the remote and operate the equipment. "Hired Luis for a complete foundation replacement for a home on a hill in Angelino Heights. Luis was very easy to work with from coordinating plans/permits, keeping to schedule, and scope changes along the way (LA City was a PITA). Luis was easy to talk to and his pricing was the best out of 5+ bids we got. Work involved replacing the entire footing/foundation, leveling interior floors, adding a few posts and support beams under the raised foundation, and replacing front patio cement area. Luis was always looking out for our bottom line and very efficient. Normally the type of foundation replacement we did requires multiple inspector visits but Luis knew the process well and only required one inspection after work was done, saving us a lot of money. Change orders were always handled professionally and very fair to both sides. Everything turned out great (I'm writing this review a year later). I highly recommend Angel Construction and wouldn't hesitate to hire them again."
