It was the best investment I could have made! Today their technician Troy came to conduct the preseason service on my air conditioner. My appointment was for 10am and Troy arrived promptly at 10am! During the course of the inspection, Troy discovered that the dual run capacitor was leaking oil. He showed me the part and suggested that it could be a problem down the road. Since the system is 18 years old, I wasn't surprised that there might be a worn part that would need to be replaced. Luckily, he had the part on hand and was able to do the repair right away. Because I had the service contract, I received a discount on the parts and labor which was greatly appreciated. I'm so glad that I called Alpine all those years ago. Had I known what I know now I would’ve demanded somebody come who had experience. Overall, they’ve done a good job and I’ve signed a service contract with them. One time in less than a year, they send somebody to service the continuous hot water heater and she falsely claimed I needed a condenser and charged me for it. I wish they would send people who knew what they were doing all the time. "
