"John explained in detail what would be done to repair my Ethan Alan pine dining room set over the phone even before seeing it! He and his son picked up the set, and expertly removed a kitchen cabinet drawer to take with them to ensure the stain color was exactly what I wanted. The original set was stained antique pine, and the finished product was changed to a new look of black legs with cherry seats and table top. He also repaired a leg and removed very deep scratches that our cats had made over the years. The result was outstanding! I don't think it looked this good when it was purchased over forty five years ago! The job was labor some and took hours, indicative of John's perfectionist nature. COVID 19 did create some waiting time issues, but that was understandable. I highly recommend John for any furniture refinishing, and am sure that I will be using his services again."
