"I bought my unit from NETR in 2018. It worked fine until we discovered it wasn't blowing any cold air. I made the big mistake of hiring someone a family friend recommended and they diagnosed it incorrectly and then basically disappeared on me. Anyway, it took a few weeks but they repaired it today and I was impressed with their courtesy and getting the job done very quickly and successfully. I felt like I was being dealt with honestly. "I had originally thought that a high velocity mini-duct central a/c system was the only option for my Victorian home with baseboard heating. But when Joe Carnevale from Airco explained the benefits of a multi-zone slim-duct system with concealed air handlers in the attic to cool the second and third floors and a conventional system tied to existing (unused) floor registers on the first floor, I was intrigued. After rebates and tax credits (which aren?t available for high velocity systems) the cost was extremely competitive and the fact that the system has four individually controlled zones means that I can adjust the cooling levels to keep operating costs lower. The installation was a little tricky as I asked (owner) Steve Duarte and his crew to run the refrigerant, electrical, and condensate lines through an unused chase to the second and third floors rather than affix a conduit to the outside of the house (which wouldn?t have been allowed due to my home?s historic designation.) The work was done efficiently and with practically no disruption to the day-to-day living that went on during the installation. The left the house and basement very clean. I have been very satisfied with the system?s performance during the several heat waves we?ve experienced this summer. All in all it was a very professional job from start to finish and I would highly recommend Airco Home Comfort Services to anyone considering central air conditioning, and in particular to owners of older homes without existing ductwork.

"Eddie did a fantastic job. He was able to come earlier, which helped me out. He explained what he was doing and got to work. One drain was a particularly hard job, but he kept at it until it worked perfectly. There were no hidden charges or attempts to jack up the cost. When he finished, he cleaned up completely. I would definitely recommend him and use him again if we need to."

"Jim did a great job. He quickly assessed the problem and then took our unit with him to work on it more. When he got back to us, the fix would have cost more than it was worth. He gave us options for a new or refurbished PC. We felt the refurbished was a good deal and chose that. He came back and set that up and we are very happy with it. He then took a look at my laptop and again took it along. He tuned it up and installed a speed upgrade we wanted. Of course, we paid extra for the new unit and upgrades, but we thought the price was very fair. Jim seemed very knowledgeable and responsive. "I had a very pleasant experience with Provost Plumbing.  After we woke up on a Saturday morning to find that our water heater had died and was leaking all over the floor of our basement, I reached out to a couple of plumbers we had used previously.  I was able to get one company to come to our house, which told us that the water heater needed replacing but that he could not fit us in until Monday afternoon.  After searching Angie's List, I came across Provost Plumbing and gave them a call.  The president, Mike, answered the phone and was very pleasant.  He explained that his guys were tied up on jobs, but he might be able to get one of them to come later in the afternoon/evening for us.  He was very up front about the pricing, explaining that the higher price was because one of his guys would have to travel from the North Shore and go to a store like Lowes or HD to pick up a heater since their usual supplier would not be open on Saturday as well as the fact that it was a Saturday.  After I agreed on the price with him, he said he would call back when someone was on their way.
He called a short while later to say that his guy could not come but that he himself would come do the installation for me after he finished a commitment he had (moving his elderly family members to an assisted living home) and would call me when he was on his way.  Sure enough, Mike called a few hours later to say that he was leaving to go get a water heater at a local store and would be by shortly.  He then called me from the store to walk through the options available.  Mike arrived a short while later and performed the work.  It took a couple of hours to drain the old tank, install the new tank and remove the old tank.  I was in the basement with Mike, and he explained everything along the way and answered any questions I had.  So far the new tank is working fine.
Overall, Mike was very professional, and he was fantastic at re-arranging things to assist us in a pinch and communicating with us all along the way so we knew when he was coming and what he was doing.  I would definitely recommend Provost Plumbing and will use them again myself when plumbing needs arrive.
