They went above and beyond helping to keep my neighbors updated as my line required use of a mutually shared alley. Since then they have also installed a new water heater and water softener. "The water heater in a rental unit that I own finally bit the dust.  My tentant didn't have hot water (obviously) so I was in a hurry to replace it.  I purchased the deal on Angie's List Thursday night hoping that i would be able to call the next day and get it done the same day.  I called Mr. Rooter first thing the next morning and they were able to schedule me for the that evening.  They arrived on time and got right to work.  They even went the extra mile and rerouted the pressure release with PEX because of the odd configuration of the utility closet.
$879 for a new water heater with installation is obviously more than it would cost me to do it myself, but it's still reasononable.  I couldn't rope someone into helping me install a new one on such short notice on a Friday night, and this was an emergency.  Mr. Rooter came through, and I have no complaints.

"US Water determined the cause of a constantly dripping drain line and rectified the matter. I had set the appointment up approximately 10 days earlier (we were out of town during that period of time). When they didn't call within the scheduled arrival time frame I phoned. They called back immediately. It was a mishandled paperwork issue. They sent a technician within two hours even though evening hours were involved. The technician, Matthew, was very professional and friendly, and very knowledgeable about the type of softener we have. He explained in detail how it functioned and what he was doing to correct the dripping. He was very patient with my numerous questions despite the after hours call. There were no parts involved, only labor which was $100 (he was on site for approximately one hour). There was also a $49.00 service call charge. I thought the labor charge was a little high but I had not requested a prior estimate. I will use this company again."

"Tim had to reschedule our Appt but they notified me 48 hours before the Appt and I was able to arrange for another day. Tim came and checked out the Unit and it had leaked all the coolant out and even though the unit was only a little over four years old there was a big problem with the condensing unit (Tim showed me the evidence of the repair that had been done by another company and was not successful in fixing the problem) He was professional he did not throw the other company under the bus but did explain in detail the function and the purpose of the attempted fix. He explained the options of an attempt to repair it again or replace the whole condensing unit. I bought the home only 3 months ago and this was not a happy moment. Tim checked to make sure there was still a warranty on the unit and luckily there was.... I agreed with Tim that a better option would be to put in a new unit which would be covered for two years. He discounted the labor 25% as a gesture in being inconvenienced for not making the first Appt. He set up a date to complete the work only 2 days from today."
