"Recently, we had an experience with another local service company which has ultimately severed our relationship. After looking on Angie's List for another alternative, we decided to try Robertson-Morrison and what a difference a phone call can make!!

We were out of town the last weekend of July when all of the storms came through and knocked out our power. Upon our return, our air conditioner was not cooling properly and I noticed that water was leaking from the furnace unit, just under where the coil resides. Not sure whether this had anything to do with the power outage or not, we decided to call our regular service company to come out.
 
They came out, told me that my air filter needed to be changed, and that the refrigerant was low. He recharged the refrigerant, and changed the air filter, then left. All seemed to be okay, until I noticed the very next day, MORE water was now on the floor than before. I called back to have them come back out...did not hear from them.  I called the next day early in the morning, and then again at 11:30AM only to continue being greeted with an answering machine.  I resorted to calling the emergency number.  I spoke to an actual person, who asked if he could call me back in 10 minutes.  At 1:30, I called back and was told that the gentleman I spoke to tried to call me back, but didn't have my phone number.  My response was:  "You mean, even after the 3 messages I left, AND the fact that I called his cell phone?"  He took my information, and "wrote up the order" so I explained I would be home in 30 minutes and that if they could come out that would be great.  That was yesterday and as of this moment (after another call/message this morning) I have not heard back from them.

At the risk of damaging our equipment, I decided to look for another solution. Enter Angie's List and Robertson-Morrison. When I explained the situation to the person who answered the phone, she was incredibly helpful, and said she could have someone out to our home within about 4 hours. She gave me a window of time of 1:30PM - 3PM and the service technician arrived promptly at 1:30PM! What a treat!

Not only was he polite and professional, he got right to work and discovered that the reason the water was leaking was because there was so much rust and corrosion in the pan under the coil, there was no where for the water to go BUT out!! He spent approximately an hour cleaning, vacuuming, and inspecting our unit to make sure that all was in good working order.

I am VERY impressed with the service and professionalism of Robertston-Morrison, I am very thankful to Angie's List for providing this kind of information to it's subscribers and for giving our community another resource to turn to! I will definitely be using this service as well as this company again. After looking at their website (Robertson-Morrison's) I also discovered that they offer maintenance plans, something my 'other' service provider has NEVER mentioned/offered/suggested to me in the four plus years we have been using them!"

Scott was very professional, knowledgable & quick to replace my garbage disposal explaining everything, even giving tips to stop things from falling into it accidentally He checked my hose to the dishwasher to make sure it was not clogged. Put water in it to make sure it would drain. The dishwasher had an error msg. & had been running for 20 hrs. I'm elderly & couldn't risk going down in the basement. Thank God he shut the power off & advised me to check my warranty & call an appliance repair person. I' m very happy they give a senior disc. I will definitely recommend Edwards Plumbing & Heating to all my family & friends in Grand Blanc. I did get a more powerful disposal than what I had. So I was satisfied with the cost of Installation & discounts knowing Scott really went the extra mile in helping an elderly person out."
