From the low-key, low-pressure sales approach to the final cleanup of our work site, our experience with Supreme Window and Door was a pleasure.  We found every individual who worked on our extensive project to be highly skilled and highly professional, courteous and approachable. We were particularly impressed with the window installation crew who treated our home with great care and my wife and me with great respect. They rank among the finest we've had on any of the many home renovation projects we've undertaken during the past 25 years. 
The project centered around the replacement of all 40 windows and all exterior doors. Supreme's highly knowledgeable representative recommended a particular replacement window that rates very highly among competitors at a competitive price. We knew he could have recommended a product with higher margins, but his goal from the beginning was to give us the best quality at the best price. This held true not only when he spec'd the windows and doors, but also as he surveyed and assessed the other projects we wanted to undertake. 
The window and door installation crew consisted of two skilled craftsmen. They were remarkable in how efficiently and expeditiously they approached the job -- a big job -- and carefully addressed each issue that arose.  We felt so at ease with them in our home, and I at no time during the installation did I feel compelled to inspect their work.  One day as they were wrapping up a heavy duty exterior door installation, I pulled out a magnifying glass and carefully examined all the seams. We all had a big laugh! 
The second crew who installed the soffits, fascia and gutters were also highly skilled, careful in their work, dedicated to completing the work expeditiously and well. 
Overall we felt that we had received a level of service in both sales and installation beyond what we were expecting.  High quality and very economical.  
We collected approximately 10 quotes on all or parts of the renovation work, and we feel very lucky that we selected Supreme Window and Door for our work.

"We experience a major leak in our ceiling dining room.  K&R came out an inspected the attic and found a roof air vent that was installed across my entire roof peak had been leaking for years, he explained the necessary steps to fix the issue (replace entire roof and installed solar powered fan to vent the attic). The wood on the roof in the attic was rotting and growing some sort of "organic material". He covered my roof with a tarp. The quote was reasonable given the amt of work that needed to be done. The material arrive in about a week and the next day after the material arrived they started the work. Even though it was cold, they finished the work in one day. They cleaned up all trash from the old roof. I am very happy that my roof is fixed and looks great. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a professional doing their roof repairs or replacement who uses top quality material and workers.

"We did our research on-line and determined through consumer reports that the highest quality replacement windows were made by Marvin and looked through Angie's List to find an installation company.  One of the closest installers was Hammer and Nail Interiors which had an A rating and many glowing reviews.  We called Hammer and Nails and arranged for an in-home estimate.  A very nice gentleman came out and helped us determine the best windows and gave us a nice price for the windows.  We also needed to replace an interior door which lead into a basement area and wanted an all metal security door as the replacement.  We set a date for construction and gave them a down payment.   A few days later a man from Hammer and Nails came out to an carefully measured the existing windows and door.  The workers showed up on time on the appointed day.  They were highly skilled and very serious about their work.  They installed the windows and the door, but the window interior trim which we selected was not available in the pattern we selected.  This posed no problem for us as the installed windows were expertly insulated by Hammer and Nails and were hence weather proof.  
The existing interior door was installed in a wooden frame.  This wooden frame was precariously installed up against a cinder block wall.  The door opening was very narrow (30").  The expert installers from Hammer and Nails used great ingenuity and expertise to install the all steel replacement door.  The installation was so perfect that when the door closed you could feel the air pressure change if you were on the basement side of the door.  The door is heavy but the installers made is open and close as if it weighed nothing.  I have never in my life seen a better installation!!!
The window trim arrived three weeks later and was the width we had agreed on which was 5 inches.  When we agreed on the width of the trim no installation problems were discussed.  Unfortunately, the trim was too wide and was installed such that  it covered the top third of the existing electrical outlets centered under the new windows.  I didn't make a big deal about it because I hate confrontation but really this really ruined the esthetics of the $12,000 windows.  It is a small detail, but it has really diminished the value of the job.  This is the only reason I rated them as B rather than A.
