"Home Comfort Systems was professional, honest and fairly priced. Steve Bilica (owner) came out to give me an estimate on a new furnace. He made me feel comfortable, which is important to me as a single woman. His estimate was the lowest of three I obtained ($4150) and he was so honest, he advised that my current unit didn’t need replacing yet. (The only reason I was getting estimates was because some other cut-throat company told me I needed a new one...for $11k!!...due to a cracked heat exchanger. However, all the other companies I contacted for estimates said I did NOT have a cracked heat exchanger.) I decided not to get a new furnace in the end. It’s been running great, although I did need a new blower motor about five months after the estimate, so Jeff D installed it for me ($385). Way cheaper than a whole new unit, so I’m happy. I’ll definitely go with this company again for repairs and when it’s time for a new furnace."

"My experience with Jose L who did the work was great. He was prompt, professional, friendly and helpful. He was patient with my questions and showed clear dedication to delivering a quality experience. I would rate him straight As across the different categories. Scheduling the service was a different story. I'd grade that a C at best, maybe D. After multiple emails and phone calls that were not returned we finally got someone on the phone and scheduled the service, but they still couldn't provide us full information on the estimated cost of a simple repair. On top of that, it was a 6 week wait for someone to come out. We've been happy with Shavitz in the past but this was a bad experience. We're on their maintenance plan so we hope that will mean better service in the future."

"I called Besco, and talked to a wonderful man on the phone from the Besco offices who listened to me about what was happening to my air conditioner. Two other companies came out and neither one could effectively diagnose the problem. Keep in mind I had water dripping all over my carpet continuously. Besco promptly sent out their amazing technician named Elvis. And within seconds of his arrival, he diagnosed the problem like a doctor would on a patient. It was a clogged exterior drain backing up into my air conditioner unit. At last! Problem solved! I was SO relieved to have someone figure this out!! He was so professional, knowledgeable and efficient. And fixed the problem quickly--trust me this was not easy--there was water everywhere. And he was working after hours in over time and still was kind and patient. I appreciate trained professionals like the ones at Besco--they installed a heater for me last year and it was the same amazing service. Congratulations on this company having some the best trained technicians around Chicago and their continually consistent excellent, honest work at very fair prices. That's what it means to be professionals! Thanks again guys! I highly recommend Besco for any heating or cooling needs."

"Our water heater stopped working,
First, Sears came over,  thought there was a bird in the pipe and charged us $80 for nothing. 
I was so impressed with JML!  When we first talked on the phone, he knew exactly what the problem was from the brand of the water heater and the symptoms.   JML ordered the part and was so quick to come and repair it and he added  refrigerant  to our air conditioner which is working perfectly now.  The $250 seemed so reasonable for fixing two problems, quickly and with knowledge beyond other experiences. Our friends will be calling him soon for a leak, he is our new guy!
He really knows what he's doing! And he is very friendly!

From the beginning I was contacted by the office--Kimie--and also sent an email letting me know who my contact in the office was and who the technician doing the servicing would be. Shawn explained a lot of things about the furnace and humidifier systems and made recommendations on things I could do to keep the systems working better. "They started at 7:00 AM as planned were on time. The workers were very professional. They completed the installation by 6:00 PM at night. Installer said he smelled some,gas,by the water heater and replace the gas piping. Workers were very professional. Installed equipment looked awesome. They neatly routed the new suction and discharge piping as well as the pvc exhaust. They also redid the water heater piping and removed the old furnace vent piping. They,have a great warrantry compared to the other vendors who quoted. They,replaced the inlet duct assembly. Great job TDH. The equipment replaced a furnace and air conditioner that was 32 years old. They cleaned up and used temporary covers on the floor so as not to get it dirty. Hauled away old equipment. I highly recommend them if you are installing new/replacement HVAC. Brian who came over to quote the job and recommend the equipment was very good. I also liked that he still dos service calls. I thought overall it was a very good vale and am so glad I didn't wait until my HVAC to breakdown on a hot day or cold day as it was so old and not sounding good.
