"Thanks to Alex and his crew of meticulous, hardworking, artistic tradesmen of Soil and Stone Landscape my wife and I how have a beautiful, spacious, and usable yard. The front porch, back stairs, back and side yards of our house are now covered with newly installed colorful pavers and drain rock which replaced the unsightly grass areas filled with weeds and brown dirt. The old and deteriorating wood fence on the back, side and front of the property was replaced with a strong, sturdy and wind resistant wood fence. All this work was performed expeditiously and with good judgement by Alex and his workers while we were away from our home. "I am very satisfied with the job that was done. The estimate was the best of the five different companies I called. From the moment I called to make an appointment to the installation everything went smooth. I scheduled an estimate at the time when the company was changing the management. I was notified of that before the appointment. John, salesperson was very courteous, on time, explained everything about the project in great detail. The installation crew with Fernando was very professional , easy to work with. Initial, they brought the wrong time color of stone. I told them about the mistake, they apologized and brought the right kind right away. I know we all make mistakes, but how we resolve the problem - that what matters to me the most. The crew handled the issue very professionally. The work was done in the timely manner. When the crew left the stones were washed and wet. Because of that i didn't see very small defect on one of the stones, but later it started bothering me. My husband was not very concerned, but I decided to contact John and see if the stone can be replaced so it looks perfect to me. Next day Fernando was by my house and fixed everything in the matter of minutes! Now it's the driveway is perfect. Love it! I was also reminded by John that I have 10 years warranty in case anything else needs to be corrected. I would definitely use this company again if I have future projects."

"They came on time (4 men and worked efficiently) as scheduled to do a spring yard clean up and did it, but I had hoped to have new bark put down, and all the branches, weeds, and trimmings hauled away.  After they got here, I found out that they didn't bring in any bark or materials or didn't haul away anything either.  It was way too much waste for our yard waste can so we had to haul it away ourselves which was a pain.  I had previous years had a different guy do spring clean-ups who did bring in bark, hauled away the trimmings, and trimmed and weeded a lot more and left it looking a bit neater.  He was just one man working alone and cost more and it took him all day instead of just a couple hours that cloudy sky took, but I decided this spring to go back to the original guy who cost more but did more.  Cloudy Sky did a fine job, especially for the price, but my other guy does a much better and complete job, and we need the bark brought in an the mess hauled away after....a littler more flexibility to do what we want.

"I did pay more on top of the big deal.  They tried to change the price with some special kind of sand and then I guess they figured in since they were going to make a bunch more money or something and he didn't buy enough additional bricks or what have you they tried to double on the sand and the sealant and we just said never mind.  So we still ended up with some more money spent for the pavers.  It was highly annoying.  So we the right hand guy who took the original measurements and he got fired and also mismeasured.  There was also scheduling issues with that.  They ended up surprising us with just showing up.  Once they were out here the people who did the work did good work.  If it rains heavily now it gets pushed up against the house."

"Great start, the work was halted for a week due to unforeseen damage to the water pipes. This was not the Concrete Champs Co.'s fault, previous owners of our home had redone the water pipes not to code and the water pipe was right below the driveway, rather that 2 feet. After the water pipe was repaired and placed further down per code, the driveway construction was resumed.. No further issues and we know have a high quality driveway that was built correctly, with layers of gravel, re-bar reinforcement, and sealed after completion. It looks great and is built to last."
