David spent a great deal of time making sure the old tank was removed carefully even though it was difficult to drain the water because of the large amount of sediment build up. He worked very methodically and made sure the new heater was installed and working properly. Also did a very good job of cleaning up."

"Woke up one morning and noticed that one of the zones of my furnace was off so I called several contractors, Hudson valley HVAC was the second I was in contact with. Mitch walked me through what we thought was the problem and was kind enough to offer to help me fix it myself in an effort for me to save some money. As it turned out it was beyond my abilities and in fact it ended up that four pipes burst. Mitch had one of his guys come over to get started on the work arrived at 11:30 a.m. Monday didn't leave till after midnight Tuesday morning and the job was done with great care to detail. I can't speak highly enough about Mitch and Nick at Hudson Valley HVAC. Not only was the price competitive the first thing they did was offer us heaters when they arrived because the house had gotten so cool. They were professional and personable and I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs HVAC services."

"Our central AC system stopped working in July and we did not have any type of service contract with the installer. We called them originally -- and they were rude on the phone, and couldn't get a tech to our house for 4 days! I checked Angie's List and found D. Rohde. When I called, the woman on the phone was very courteous and helpful. She offered to send a tech more quickly (2 days) and gave me a 2-hour window the day he would come. The tech came exactly on time (in fact, a little early) and I got a text message before his arrival with his picture and credentials -- which I thought was very professional and made me feel more confident about letting him in our home. The tech himself was very polite and seemed to know what he was doing. He was at our home for 2 hours - and did both the repair work and overall maintenance check with several suggestions. We were very happy with our experience with D. Rohde and even bought a service contract, in addition to paying for the work done. Would recommend them to others."

"I had an issue with my stream boiler last Saturday. Did a google search and called multiple companies except Lighthouse (also part of Premier HVAC) picked up the phone right away and the tech Slava (unsure if I spelled his name correctly) showed up an hour after my call. He was very knowledgeable. He first did a thorough inspection on my streamer boiler (I thought mine was called furnace but he corrected me and luckily Lighthouse also repair stream boiler), then giving options (replace the water feeder and side glass or the whole stream boiler since mine was already past 30years and it may not last long). Due to budget issue, after discussed with my family, we chose for now just changed the parts. Slava has no problem with that and I got lucky that he was about to arrange time to have the work done the same day. Slava is also very patient and professional. As he learned that I am new to streamer boiler, while he was doing his work, at the same time, he was giving “a lecture “ in terms of names, functions of each parts and the concept of how the stream boiler works and how to maintain it properly. I gotta be honest that I don’t recall all the he mentioned but at least now I have a concept. In terms of the price, I can’t say that it’s cheap but you pay for the quality of service that you get. Slava literally taking his time and spent about 4 hours to repair. Highly recommend."

"I was very happy with my service call today! The repairman, Scott, was knowledgeable and pleasant and wore a mask and gloves throughout., so I felt safe, despite the pandemic. He serviced both of my central air systems and diagnosed the problem with the malfunctioning one and fixed it. By the time he left my house was already a much more pleasant place to be!"
