"The technicians were friendly and knowledgeable. The end product was excellent. The office was professional (mostly). The price seemed fair, but I would venture a guess that I could find cheaper, but I wanted a quality installation. I can confirm I found competition that was much more expensive. The only issue I had was scheduling both the quote and the work. In this case we needed both an electrician and plumbers complicating the situation. We scheduled both disciplines to quote on the same day. The electrician missed the window and had to come the next day. For the work to be performed, we again scheduled for a single day process but due to illness apparently had to reschedule for the following day. At that point, I complained to the office due to the inconvenience of taking 4 days out of the office for a 2 day job, looking for a little price reduction. The office manager I spoke to was more interested in defending their position than seeing my side. In the end he granted me a $50 online coupon, reduction yes, but I'm not sure why I wouldn't have been entitled to that regardless. Honestly, in the end I was happy and would hire again due to the quality of work, reasonable price and professionalism in general. They would have received high marks across the board if it wasn't for the scheduling issues. I hope that was just bad coincidence."

They looked over the main water shutoff valve that I wanted to replace and then explained what they were going to do and how much it would cost. "Mr. Brian Langford made all the arrangements with the installation of our gas hot water heater from Lowe's via McCarthy plumbing. He was extremely helpful,patient, professional and available to answer all questions. Due to his approach to his work, we will be working with both companies in the future. Only concern I have is the warranty between Lowe's and AO Smith Hot water heaters. Once the heater is installed, Lowe's severs ties. If there is a problem with the hot water heater, you cannot return it to Lowe's although it was purchased through them, this is clearly stated on the Hot water heater in bold writing."
