"Outstanding installation and good pricing for Carrier HVAC (Heat Pump) system replacement. Salesman was prompt and thorough, although he did not provide us any brochures, booklets, etc. Installer was courteous, experienced, knowledgeable, and professional. Took the time to ensure system was thoroughly operational, confirmed electrical requirements and changed breakers accordingly, cleaned up all debris, and explained operation to us. However, since he was new to McCarthy's, he did not have any installation or service stickers or other company material. The sales representative had promised the following to us, included in sales/order form: one year free service, service information and schedule, copy of registration with Carrier. Three months later, we have not received any communication or follow up from McCarthy's -- despite our calling, texting and emailing the sales rep and office. This is our primary concern: the lack of follow up and poor responsiveness."

"This whole thing actually started about 3 weeks or so ago when I started getting a double image on my TV. I searched the list and found Eddie Watkins. The great thing is that he doesn't live far from me. I called him up and he was completely honest about my options, stating that it wasn't about the money, he just wants his customers to be happy. His honesty was quite frankly refreshing. He gave me time to decide what I wanted to do and assured me he would assist me whatever my decision. I decided to purchase another TV. He worked with my schedule and came to my house to mount my new TV to the wall. He ran into trouble with the bracket and screw size. He quickly went out to his van and took his time to make sure he found the right screws and tools. He made it happen with my existing bracket, thereby saving me money. "Very pleased. Our 18 year old AC unit needed a charge. Aside from the fact that R-22 is almost extinct, the unit ran fairly well for a builder grade 10 seer. R-22 is quite costly these days. Service call was made with a fast response during a busy period. The unit was charged and inspected and the house cooled down. During the inspection it was noted that the gas furnace was rusted to a point where the gas valve had to be turned off. Time for a new system. AC and furnace replaced. There was one minor glitch but it was resolved. This glitch was no fault of the installers. The unit is up and running perfectly. There was no up selling. I had done my research and chose a system within our budget that would work well and it does. I chose Pope’s because a few years back they came out and gave me advice on my DIY thermostat replacement with no charge. I wrote a review back then and said I would call them when I needed service. They seem to operate under the radar - no TV advertising as far as I know. Their price is fair and I will be calling them shortly again to replace a gas water heater. Thanks"

"I was very pleased with the services of All City Appliance Repair Inc. The big deal was for him to come out and analysis and the labor. There was a part that he replaced and I had to buy the part. It went very well. My refrigerator was actually leaking and he had to replace a part. My refrigerator was leaking and there was a pool of water in front of my refrigerator. I was totally pleased that he identified it very quickly. He fixed it very efficiently. I would call him again. His image was fine, he was dressed very nicely. He was polite. I felt very comfortable with him working in my home. I was satisfied with his work. I would give him probably four and a half stars."
