"I have had them out twice now in about a year for unrelated issues.  Last year, they replaced a section of pipe for me that had a small leak.  Today, they were here because of a failed water heater element and a tank that wouldn't drain.  Both times they have always been professional, quick and easy to work with.  The pricing is very fair and he is willing to answer any questions you may have about your home's plumbing and how to maintain it.  This time he even gave me a piece of advice (in a very polite way) about something else he noticed while in my basement which wasn't related to plumbing, which was welcome and not something i had thought about before. My wife and I both really like him and will always use Barr Plumbing going forward. He recommends other services or solutions as needed but is not pushy about it which is appreciated.  He is obviously smart and knows the ins and outs about how these systems work and not just how to repair them.  Highly recommended.

"Discovered a significant water leak due to cold weather mid-day.  Called and was told they could be out between 4 and 6 pm after current call.  Showed at 4:30 and repaired pipe quickly.  Process involved removing heat tape and pipe insulation.  After repair reinstalled all neatly.

"Had viking plumbing put in a new faucet and snake out my septic line out to the street in order to ensure we don't have a partial block that may be causing some slow drains in the basement. The faucet was to replace one that was not functioning properly. The technician arrived promptly was very thorough and did a great job. I have his number for future jobs. As an update i had him come back the following week to replace an older out side faucet shutoff valve in the basement and more importantly the water shutoff for the home. Good thing we did becaise he showed me where it was leaking and could have been a big problem on the future. Cost was abou $400 for this service."

"The gentlemen were very polite and respectful. They came out the same day for an emergency (a severely clogged drain), which was very much appreciated. However, the problem was not solved, despite assurances that it was. A second company came out and found a piece of an old plumbing snake that had somehow been stuck in the pipe, which was causing the clog. The second company believed that the piece should have been able to be detected (and removed) by Sewer & Drain Specialists during the first check, as it was very large. I am not a plumber, so I can only go by what they tell me. I hate leaving anything but glowing reviews, but it is also important to note when things don't go quite so well, to hopefully avoid the same problem in the future, as it did end up costing double what it should have to fix the problem and almost a week of extra time without working toilets/showers/etc."

"On 1st unit, techs added a lot of freon and cleared the blocked drain line from the blower. The continuous running on the the second unit has been a recurring problem that had been treated prior as thermostat problem. The problem has always returned after thermostat replacement. The AAA tech is the first to examine the blower thoroughly and discover a bad module as the problem. Hopefully, this will be a lasting fix."
